As a food critic who values both consistency and local execution, I found this Arby’s location to be a mixed experience—solid in parts, but uneven overall.
Located at 801 S Main St in Weatherford, this Arby’s serves the community and travelers with typical chain efficiency. The roast beef sandwiches, curly fries, and shakes follow the familiar formula, but the finer details—temperature, timing, and freshness—determine whether the visit is average or excellent.
The Roast Beef Classic had decent flavor, though a few slices were dry around the edges, likely from holding too long. The bun was soft but slightly stale in one instance. The Smokehouse Brisket sandwich stood out—it offered a smoky, tender bite with well-balanced sauce and satisfying portion size. The Loaded Curly Fries were flavorful but lost crispness quickly under toppings.
Service was courteous, though occasionally slow during peak hours. Staff were polite and responsive—when my fries arrived soggy, they immediately replaced them with a fresh batch, which I appreciated. Accuracy was mostly good, though one order mix-up occurred and was fixed promptly.
Cleanliness was acceptable, if imperfect. Tables and floors were generally tidy but could use more frequent attention during busy times. Restrooms were functional but slightly worn, with small maintenance issues like a squeaky stall door and minor water spots. The dining room lighting is bright and practical, and while the decor isn’t memorable, it’s serviceable.
Value is fair for what you receive. Combo meals range from about $8–$11, comparable to other sandwich chains. The brisket sandwich offers the best return for its cost, while the premium “loaded” fries feel a bit overpriced for what they add.
In short, this Arby’s is dependable but not exceptional—a safe choice for a quick meal, especially if you’re craving something different from the usual burger options. When the kitchen’s on its game, you’ll get a warm, satisfying sandwich and crisp fries; when it’s not, expect minor lapses in temperature or timing.
Strengths: polite staff, solid brisket sandwich, fair pricing, convenient location. Weaknesses: inconsistent food temperature, occasional cleanliness lapses, slower rush-hour service.
Overall, it’s a competent 3-star experience: reliable, functional, and good enough for a casual stop, but not quite polished enough to stand out. With a bit more consistency and attention to detail, this Arby’s could easily earn...
Read moreI've been to this arby's several times since it opened many years ago, but for the last 10 years never more than once or twice a year. I swear every time is my last, but then I think, "Maybe it's changed." so I give them another chance. My latest visit was pretty normal for this place. The employees seem to congregate to the left of the front counter, where you can hear them having conversations, but can't see them. This allows them to pretend that they don't know you're there while they laugh and joke. So, then one of them will eventually come to take your order, the person that was full of merriment just a second ago is now dead eyed and communicates in grunts and single syllables. The place is not what I would call clean. The tables are sticky, having been cleared but not cleaned. This is at 3-4pm, so it's not because of lunch rush. I know, everybody says "It's almost impossible to get help anymore, so you can't work them too hard, or they'll quit." Well, fast food places are starting to find out that's changing to "It's almost impossible to get customers anymore". The only other person is the dining area had his head on the table, sleeping, while he charges his phone at the electrical outlet beside the table. He was not dressed as an employee. The food is OK, but probably the most expensive fast food place in Parker County. So the value is not there. I used to really like arby's food, memories of when a visit to an arby's was a good experience are what kept me giving them their 32nd chance. I won't be...
Read moreUse to frequent this restaurant once to twice a month. The restaurant has always been clean, and never had a complaint with the quality of the food. The problem with this location is the staff. Last two visits (one through the drive thru & the other dine in) the current staff is there for one reason only (to collect a check). Guy working the drive thru doesn't say a word other than how much the order is. Just grabs the drink and passes it through the window not even realizing the lid isn't on; not once, but twice (it fell completely off 1st attempt). Last visit came into the dining room, and the lady at the register wants to get into an argument with me. Not wanting to modify a sandwich by removing items from the sandwich, and not adding anything onto it. Got heated enough that we left, and ate else where. Could tell by the look on the employee's face that we were doing them a favor, by them not having to serve us. So, I'll do the franchisee a favor of not spending my money here again anytime soon. I know since Covid; help is hard to find, but proper training in customer service & then following up to confirm it is being put into practical use would go a long ways at...
