We went in to Tautfest in Weatherford on April 4th, 2020 in search of purchasing a set of couches for our living room. One of the ladies there, Sandy, approached us and asked if we needed help finding anything. We did find the perfect couches I was looking for IN STOCK. I end up paying around $1,200 for them. We’re from Clinton so I opted in for delivery (we own a jeep). Sandy did let me know they were behind on deliveries but that they would try to get them out ASAP. A week goes by and I make a phone call to Taufest for an update, well guess what we were sold couches that were already SOLD and that couch set was delivered to happy customers and now we have to wait until Tautfest orders a new set. WOW. Great communication Taufest. I had to call in for them to let me know they sold my couches. So I’m like okay, fine. I’ll wait. A few more days won’t hurt. 2 weeks go by. I call again and leave a msg. Sandy texts me the next day to let me know theres no update yet on the couches. 3 weeks. I finally get a call from the delivery guys. They end up delivering only ONE. I’m confused on why there’s only one, they then say the other couch is back ordered. Well thanks now my living room looks unfinished 3.5 weeks have gone by and we have to wait MORE. I call Tautfest. I ask to talk to the owner but he’s already gone for the day but Sandy repeatedly tells me that he couldn’t help me because his wife is who handles the furniture side. She also mentions even if I did talk to him he would tell me the same thing she would. Basically she didnt care to fix how upset I was over my family having to sit on chairs because we thought we would have a set of couches to sit on! That’s why we specifically went inside to find something on hand ready to be delivered. She then tells me she sorry she didn’t know anything. That she just got back from San Antonio, from visiting her sister. Look here lady I don’t give a DAMN where you just got back from or who you visited there. I want my couches! She then tells me she will talk to his wife and see what she can do to fix it. I get a text the next day about a $30 discount. What a joke. DO NOT GO HERE TO PURCHASE FURNITURE. It is May 4th...

The lady at the reheated tried to charge double because “we write the charges up different during sells, so I misread it.” No, big deal. Then a few days after making the purchase, I called in to see if they could give me a delivery estimate. At that time, the store rep informed me they “forgot” to include the headboard on the price. I was rather annoyed, and my receipt was not itemized (probably so they can pull this scam). I decided to give in and kept my purchase and added the headboard. The delivery guys we’re great when my product finally arrived two months later. While setting up the set, I discovered my dresser had a broken latch, the sales rep promised they were going to take care of it and replace the dresser. We were promised October, then November, then March, then May and then promised 100% we would have this by the second week of June this year and now no one will return our call or give an explanation. I get things happen. I get Covid. But, communication for your customers should be the top priority! We have $6,500 unaccounted for after a year with absolutely no idea what to do.
