Subway — Restaurant in Weatherford

The workers mainly seem to be high school kids just putting in hours. It's co-located in a kind of run-down gas station/convenience store. The place could use a good cleaning. The food varies depending on the "give a damn" of the person making your sandwich that particular day. Recently, I went in and got my sandwich put together by Maddy. I l like my sandwich prepared a particular way. When ever I asked for "extra X, Y or Z", Maddy would apply what I considered to be a very conservative amount, maybe less than what I would think to be a "normal" amount- as though each portion was coming out of her paycheck. As result, I didn't get the sandwich that I wanted. Was this Maddy's decision, or had she been instructed this way? I don't know, but ultimately, to me, it doesn't matter. The result was the same. I thought that was one of advertised benefits of subway, was that you get to stand there and get it made the way that you prefer. I've also witnessed a teenaged girl employee have a very loud (pretty much screaming) and un-guarded argument with her mother about her "freedom". As mom was walking out the door, the employee made sure to confirm that mom was still coming to give her a ride home at the end of her shift. I already knew i shouldn't eat at subway knowing that their bread is made with yoga mat material and that they pay their workers like 8 dollars an hour, but I went back anyway. They must have told their employees to skimp on everything, even the vegetables. I was extremely disappointed in the tiny amounts of everything they put on my sandwich. And it was only like a dollar less than jersey mikes would have been. If I'm getting a sub from now on, I'm going to pay the extra dollar and go to jersey Mike's. Subway...

Put in an online order at 7:25 p.m. it said it would take 17 minutes and we went up there to get it and they said they haven't even started it yet (not one customer in there by the way) then they say the meatballs will take another 20 minutes to make... It's now been 50 min to get an order that was originally supposed to take 17 minutes. The staff was rude and super unprofessional and when asked to speak with a manager they said she couldn't be reached. Over an hour later!...
