Orient Express Webb City — Restaurant in Webb City

My experience was definitely on the path toward a bad review. I ordered from Joplin mo store and paid with a credit card and was told it would be 45 minutes to an hour . 1 hour and 5 minutes later I get a call from Orient Express Requesting my address followed by we don’t deliver to my address. Their solution Was that they would be calling the Webb City store and transferring the payment and place my order from store to store and it would be delivered from them. Approximately 20 minutes later. I placed a call to the Webb City store, and they were in a state of Omai God. And stated that they did not receive a phone call with a transfer order or transfer payment. However, they did take my order again. And called the Joplin restraint and confirming my order as well as confirm my payment and have them transfer it themselves not only was her service impeccably, remarkable, compassionate, understanding and patient. I received a delivery seven minutes after I entered the phone conversation and when they delivered it, the driver apologized and informed me that they transferred his tip as well upon sitting down. And opening the food and putting it onto the plates and eating the food phenomenal, The best Chinese food that I have ever eaten in my life of almost 50 years of age the best service the best food I can’t stop eating it. I definitely recommend trying to Webb City store. Regardless, if you are a resident, a visitor or a passerby, Orient express is a must dry, and I’ll go back time...

I used to love this place but the last few times I've come here to get food it hasn't been a good experience. I ordered an orange chicken lunch the other day and the chicken was dry, chewy, and tasted old like it had been sitting out for several hours.

The pieces of chicken I attempted to eat just turned into chewy stringy bits in my mouth and I ended up having to spit them out because they weren't even digestible. It felt like I was chewing on a rubber band.

I ate some of the fried rice, which itself was bland, and the egg roll and just ended up throwing the rest of it in the trash because the chicken wasn't even edible. Definitely not worth the $12 I paid. The portions are still generous but it hardly matters when the food isn't good.

I don't know what happened to this place because the food wasn't always this bad. Sadly this is what kept me away for several months because this was the same experience I had the last time I was here. I was hoping it would be different yesterday, but the food just isn't good anymore and if I had to guess most of it is probably frozen because that's exactly how it tastes.

Sorry to say I won't be coming back. There's plenty of other Chinese restaurants in the area where you can get better quality food at a much...

I hate doing this but on this one instance I’ve been going here since they open I love this orient express they’ve got great food but this one instance I’m in the middle I mean I’m busy and I’m in the middle of an Amazon route, so I call in about 10 minutes you know and usually it’s about 10 to 15 minutes for them to prepare so I figured by the time I got there my order would be complete of course on this date it was not I waited for over 25 minutes and they still want to charge me for the food so I believe that I don’t think I’m gonna be going there anymore.
