I recently visited this place with a group of 15 for a Christmas sweater party I can’t say enough good things about the experience! Despite it being a busy night with two popular college football games playing, we didn’t have a reservation, but the manager went above and beyond. They found us a great table right in the middle of all the action. The drinks were phenomenal our food came out quickly, which was impressive considering how packed it was. When we got a little hot from wearing our Christmas sweaters and enjoying our drink we decided to step out onto the patio. It was a bit chilly outside but the manager noticed right away and without us even asking had some employees bring out heaters for us. That level of attention and care truly stood out—it was top-notch customer service. To make the night even better, one of our friends accidentally left behind a really nice Christmas gift and realized the NEXT DAY! we were pleasantly surprised to find that an employee had set it aside for safekeeping. That kind of honesty and thoughtfulness is rare and greatly appreciated. The live music was another highlight a talented musician playing the saxophone added such a great vibe to the evening. The bathrooms and the entire establishment were exceptionally clean and the staff were friendly and attentive. No matter where we sat, there was always someone checking on us, ensuring we were well taken care of. With multiple TVs throughout the venue, it’s also a great spot for sports fans. I was a little uncertain about coming here initially since it was my first visit but I can confidently say I’ll be back. This place is amazing compassionate, customer-focused, and an all-around great experience! Thank you all here, you are...
Read moreThis one is going to take a bit of explanation. I've been thinking about how to go about a review on a place that at one point may have been my favorite place to go for cheese curds, tenders, and a beer. First, I know they have gone through ownership changes but that doesn't excuse the lack of service I've had on multiple occasions now. I sat outside and there were multiple patrons being served. I had 2 servers look me in the eyes and walk away each time. I waited for 30 minutes and then gave up altogether and chose a different restaurant that night. After a few months away I decided to give them another try. The once amazing cheese curds that I would brag to everyone that would listen about were no longer any good. The texture on the breading was different and the garlic flavor that you could taste with every bite was MIA. The only saving grace at this point is the chicken tenders are huge and so are the wings. The flavors on the sauces though need a complete revamp. Zesty garlic is straight up terrible and the spicy garlic is just as bad. After one dip in the zesty garlic I asked my friends that I was with to give it a taste and they were in agreement. I have always enjoyed their Gochujang sauce. You may ask why I'm giving such an in depth bad review? The truth is this use to be our groups go to place. Now though, it's all but empty most of the times I've visited and I won't be back. I wish Texas Huddle continued success but they should look at things top to bottom and make some real changes otherwise they will go the way of...
Read moreThe food was good. Not excellent, not bad. The chicken tenders were huge but the breading was literally like a bread. It wasn’t crunchy and crispy like you’d expect. The salad was small but fresh and their ranch dressing is good. Everyone loved the fries. They’re crispy and flavorful.
My husband and one of my kids ordered the chicken sandwich. Which had very little chicken? They had quite the opposite experience as I did with the chicken. My two youngest kids ordered the kids cheeseburger which looked great but for some reason they didn’t come with drinks. And the kids drinks were $3 each. I think it was probably my first time experiencing that. Kids drinks are ALWAYS included. So I ended up spending $22 JUST for my 5 and 6 year old which is honestly outrageous!
Services was okay. The waitress was in training and said some kinda weird stuff. Like as she was bussing our table she said “wow y’all were hungry” which seemed odd. Like yeah that’s why we’re here? And we even had quite a bit of food left so I felt like it was just a weird thing to say. She really didn’t talk to us other than that. Just yea and no when we’d ask for something. No personality, no manners.
So overall I’m not going to recommend this place and I’m not going back. I think if you’re going for the sports bar atmosphere it would be worth it but we just wanted some good food. In total my bill was $80 and I usually spend that at a much classier higher scale establishment so I wasn’t really expecting that total at...
