Came here with a group of friends, one friend ordered an appetizer and didn't recieve it until an hour later, I was charged for my hibachi even though we never saw the chef and was just made in the back (the child with us was hoping for the hibachi experience which judging by the prices we were charged for) ordered my steak rare, recieved medium. Just felt overcharged for a meal that I truly didn't enjoy. (Granted a lot of the friends came for the sushi). The hibachi part could have been better if done right, payed more than I would at other places, and only recieved a salad, rice, a kids portion of vegetables, and over cooked steak. Have been here before in the past with better experiences but tonight made me rethink my decision to come here. Edit for the reply I would have gladly asked our server but she seemed overwhelmed and was difficult to get the attention of/find. Granted I would have gotten up to find her but was trying to enjoy the time with my friends as best I could. My friends also stated it seemed like she knew she was going to recieve gratuity automatic because of the big party so she didn't care about good service, as stated above 1 friend waited over an hour for fried dumpling apps, another ordered sushi and waited so long he cancelled the order and just shared with another friend that had recieved her meal. At one point had to ask the busser nearby if she knew where the waitress was so I could find out about the drinks I ordered, as well if I could get a refill of water. I completely understand you are at 100% capacity but all we asked was for one seat or to be seated at the end of a table that couldnt be accomodated and the host was very short and rude.
Delta covid season I came in everyone was wearing masks and they had 6 ft apart signs all over the place. I did ask the hostess to be seated on the end or if she could put a seat in between me and another random person. She laughed and said we're at 100% capacity I guess you can sit at a table over on the side if that's how you feel. That's the most unprofessional response I think I've ever heard just on the hostesses rudeness alone I would definitely never come back here. After waiting for over an hour for the chef to come serve us at the hibachi, and watching 3 tables served, we nicely asked the owner at the bar when we would get our food. He completely went nuts and was rude and said if we don’t want to wait, we could leave. Our waitress was there and she said others who came later were served before us. He then came to our table and started going off, telling us to leave. We let him know we were only asking when our chef would prepare our food and he told us to leave, he would not serve us. He was almost jumping up and down with craziness! He kept saying we needed to leave so we paid for our appetizers and drinks and we left.
