Dining Experience @ IHOP. . This is a franchise restaurant chain that specialises in quick, no-frills American breakfast, with most outlets open 24 hours daily, 7 days a week. . The griddle-cooked Pancakes (USD $1.99) are made with buttermilk, served in a stack dressed with salted butter and maple syrup. Has a light floral bready sweet savoury flavour and a fluffy soft warm texture, yum. Served to accompany most dishes here, I like that these are freshly prepared and not dry. . Read moreSo I wanted to leave a review Because recently my husband and kiddos and I went to IHOP at this location and had two extremely drastically different experiences. Picture it New Year’s Eve we really partied hard we watched movies and fell asleep on the couch so we decided to go to IHOP around 10 PM the kids were excited because this isn’t something we do often and I will tell you honestly that they made it a great experience. Chelsea was our waitress the first time which was at night like I said…. and she was prompt, the restaurant was clean… upon walking in we were both like “this is a super clean restaurant! wow!” So we ate and enjoyed our food paid our ticket and left except for we forgot we had a gift card so we went back the next day… I’m not sure of the exact time but we think it was around like 1 o’clock or so on New Year’s Day and we walked into the same restaurant we were at just hours before and it looked like it hadn’t been cleaned in days. But seriously there were only a couple of tables that didn’t have other past patrons food sitting awaiting clean up. The service was terrible the order was wrong and the manager was rude… Although she took the mistaken meal off of the ticket she didn’t lack attitude while doing so. I don’t even think she realize that we saw how she was reacting when the waiter told her that we didn’t wanna pay for the wrong item.
We came back to IHOP this evening really late just my husband and I around 12:15 AM and Chelsea was our waitress once again and once again the restaurant was noticeably clean very very clean. They had awesome service and the food was wonderful our order was exactly perfect.
There are honestly only good things I can say about the late night crew at this IHOP. Chelsea is super friendly and really attentive as a waitress!
*Chelsea good luck at your next league game thank you so much for the...
Read moreI wasn’t expecting a trip to Dennys in the 3rd ward but that’s how I felt leaving. Our waitress was on some form of opioids and could barely stand. After our food came out she disappeared for 30 minutes and the manager had to “go look for her” which took another 15? When they came back they were both obviously inebriated. We got up and paid at the front and left her $6 on a $34 tab, which was more than she deserved but she apparently didn’t agree. When the charge went through on my card it was $50. She had added $10! Guess 6 won’t get you a spoonful 😒 When I called and spoke to a manager my name and number were taken and I was given reassurance of a call back from the “day manager” who wasn't there at 1 p.m.? That never happened so a few days later I called back and was connected to what seemed to be the GM. He asked what my card number was and what we ordered, along with what time we came in and what day. He promised to call me back when he found my ticket so he could double check. Seemingly taken care of, I left it alone until still, another 3 days later I hadn’t received a call or a refund. I ended up having to contact the bank and cancelling part of the charge. At least at waffle house if they’re on anything it’s uppers so your food will take less time rather than the staff walking into walls trying to chase the...
