New owners and totally rebuilt store. Hopefully google will remove the old reviews to ensure this location gets the ratings they deserve with them getting dragged down from old prior reviews. Love that I can walk across the street especially when I am cooking and realize I have no wine to go with my dinner. Place has really nice selection of wine, beer and some alcohol. They have a chef on site and they are working out their menu selections to be what everyone wants in the neighborhood. People want evermore choices since they enjoy his food so much. Great burrata by the way. I say they are doing an A+ job. You can grab a sandwich, wonderful breakfast choices and so far a limited dinner menu but I know there is great things to come from this establishment. Glad I live on Oak, welcome to the neighborhood, adore your painted windows, the gentleman who does this really is a perfectionist! Iv'e watched him work out there in the freezing cold through two windows now. Just adorable, nice touch! Shout out to Josh who has great recommendations for wine and always has a smile, even...
Read moreThis is one of those hidden gems that deserves to be in business and flourish, so I am compelled to write a glowing review! This deli is charming and quant! Outside there are beautiful flowers, some outdoor seating and an antique green wrought iron bench with a mermaid statue seated on it (she adds the perfect touch, especially if you love mermaids, like I do!).

My husband and I love the steak sandwich, which was delicately seasoned with peppers and onions on a soft, seeded bakery fresh roll. Best we've ever had!! We look forward to sampling the other items on the menu that we have been told are also amazing!
Inside this gourmet deli you will find a vast selection of italian specialty food items with a section hosting various liquors as well. What is also really nice is that it is nestled in an area where you have some privacy, and where you would least expect it. Truly a...
Read moreJust picked up 2 sandwiches. Pastrami was pretty good, just a bit messy. But the reason for 2 stars is for the other sandwich, which was a special…Omaha Roast Beef. It was wayyy too messy, and the roast beef itself wasn’t edible at all. It was chewy, rubbery, and too tough and had a weird taste and smell to it as if it wasn’t fresh. When I opened the sandwich, the roast beef seemed to be overcooked and a very dark brown. So it seems that bc the beef wasn’t good, they doused the sandwich with sauce onions and peppers. I barely ate the one half, had to take the beef out and still couldn’t eat it. Had to toss practically the whole sandwich in the garbage, which was a complete waste of $20.
Didn’t feel as if the place was sanitary, tbh. Parking is a...
