Fabiano’s Pizza — Restaurant in Weehawken

I love this place. As a self proclaimed foodie, I enjoy trying new restaurants all the time, but just knowing that Fabiano’s exists and I’ve loved everything I’ve ever had there makes me return over and over again. That’s how great this place is. They have restored my faith in neighborhood joints!!! They always serve with a smile and really care about their food. Their vodka sauce is incredible, as many reviews have mentioned. I think it is the standard against which I measure all other vodka sauces I consume now, even in the city. Their specialty pizza offerings are incredibly delicious and as a vegetarian I have never felt limited with many excellent options. By far the best pizza I’ve had in Jersey and it’s all being cranked out by a wonderful team in a nondescript, no frills place. I’m scared to write this review and have the secret come out but I can’t think of another place that deserves it more. Thank you Fabiano’s!! I always leave my interactions with you all with a big smile and a happy tummy.

Edit: as a concrete example of why this place is the best- I saw a delectable slice of pesto pizza behind the counter and said that was on my list to try next and when I got home and opened my pizza box there was a slice of pesto pizza waiting for me, just because I’d mentioned that!!! I stopped in here about a year or so ago when it was a different operation, and it was decent enough, nothing special.. but this new ownership is no joke. Far and away blows out any other pizza shop this side of the Hudson. I'm currently angry at myself for not trying it sooner given I drive past the place several times a week.

The vodka pie was the best I ever had. I couldn't believe it when I picked up the box- I wasn't sure there was even a pizza inside, it was that light. The crust was perfection- thin, no flop and the undercarriage was strong and crispy but not the slightest overdone. The fresh mozzarella was delicious and the vodka sauce the perfect amount of tang.

I'm really looking forward to trying the rest of the menu because the value is there. Very reasonable prices for this area and yet the quality blows the others out of the water. The service was also great, from the girl who took my order on the phone, to the man who gave me my order, ran to hold the door open for me on my way out. Little things like that matter! We love this pizza place! The people are really nice, and the food is fantastic. ive tried a bunch of pizza places around Union City and Weehawken, and they've all let me down. But this place? This is the one for your pizza fix. The pizza is seriously the best in Weehawken. We really needed this new pizzeria. The food always tastes fresh, and the pizza is perfectly crispy and cheesy.
