I have been helped by many ladies, and always loved loved every one of them and service. . But today was horrible experience!!! This lady walked by 4 times and didn’t offer to fill our empty beer, when she did help us, we said thank you, and no response or smile or anything , oh wait, once a single man came in, the smile came out and lots of giggles. He was helped way more than us. So sad. Oh and I was told you can’t have more than one sample . I asked for two, one for my husband, the other for me. Just so unimpressed . But I’d give it 4 easy had we not been helped by her. And she kept hanging out near the cooking area??? Throwing things at cook, and just seemed to be around there a lot. By the way when this happen, she had three tables total in hole place and us at bar. But… we still love this place, it’s our favorite pub. So I am writing in hopes of someone important finding this comment. We love your beer and your place :) just will walk out if this person is our...
Read moreI love this place, I do, but usually something's just sideways each time I go. Not the food - the food is always great. Beer, too. But historically it's struggled with service, in my experience usually not enough servers for its capacity or not attentive enough servers, or ambience. I actually had great service yesterday when I went, so that wasn't a problem. But there was no AC, and it was ~100 degrees inside and out. I had to leave my dinner date with friends an hour and a half early because I simply wasn't dressed to withstand it - my office sometimes hovers in the high 60s, so long pants at work makes sense. But going straight from work to here... oof. I'll still go, because I like the patio, the food, and the restaurant in general, but if the AC is broken, misters or even a bunch of $20 box fans would go a LONG way and probably pay for themselves rapidly in customer booze purchases because they were comfortable enough to...
Read moreI want the Columbia Valley Brewery to know that my review is not against the beer, because I enjoyed my beer very much. My server at the Riverside Pub wasn't very friendly, and the food was pretty bad. I had a salad which was good, but it's just chopped vegetables on a plate, hard to mess up. I had a "planked pizza" - what does that even mean? Because I was served a tiny round pizza on a side salad plate. The crust was doughy and soft and the whole thing had a fresh from the microwave taste and texture. I assumed "planked pizza" meant that it was going to be a crisp flatbread pizza that was actually baked in the oven and served on a cutting board/plank. Your menus should elaborate because if I knew that's what the pizza was, I wouldn't...
