Bandana's Bar-B-Q Wentzville, MO — Restaurant in Wentzville

Came here on a weekday for some bbq. We ordered the 3 meat plate (ribs pulled pork and burnt ends) with fried green beans and mac & cheese, brisket with fried okra and potato salad, and burnt ends plate with beans and potato salad.

LOVED the burnt ends, ribs, and the bbq sauce selection they had. There was literally a sauce for everyone and was great for those who don’t agree on a sauce choice to pick their own. Also loved their ranch to dip sides into! Surprisingly we really loved the complimentary bread given with plates, I don’t know how they prepare it or what the bread is but it was perfectly crispy outside and fluffy inside, a great accompaniment for the bbq!

We weren’t a fan of the fried sides of okra or green beans (not much flavor to it and the batter felt a little heavy so it was a lot of grease instead of a light crunch) and the potato salad could’ve used more flavor. We sampled the potato salad before ordering and there was a good amount of diced onions and pickle but when we got the actual scoop of it with the meal we found it lacking that flavor that made it so good the first time around.

Overall great bbq, lots of seating, and a bar selection. Will definitely be back! I absolutely prefer this...

First of all I'm going to say that I visited this place a little more than an hour before closing time so I believe that this may have affected the food quality. But they were sold out of ribs and turkey when I arrived which was a bummer cuz that's two other things that I always order at bandanas so I ended up getting brisket which was a $2 up charge and I got chicken and sausage. I asked for pool chicken but the chicken that I got was not pulled but the server went back and got me some pulled chicken and let me keep the other piece of chicken which really didn't mean no good because the chicken was dry the brisket was so dry it was inedible and the sausage was absolutely delicious but wasn't cut like all of the other bandanas cut their sausage so so it felt kind of cheap even though it was the same bandana sausage that I love it just the cut makes a difference. I paid an upcharge for a brisket in my shoes three combo and was upset that I didn't send it back because it was absolutely horrible. But I am determined I'm going to go back to this location when it's earlier in the day to see if I get a better representation of this location and when I do I will update...

First, it's one of the best places to go for great BBQ! You can't go wrong with that garlic bread either! Yum! Our server though, yow! Most unfriendly, non smiling, rudest server I've ever had! Who on earth walks up to a table as they are eating and says "you wanna pay for that now?" huh?? I said I think I'd like to eat first, if you don't mind. She huffed and walked away. She had a terrible attitude the whole time. Never asked how our meal was and when we asked to get containers to go, she brought one small one and we had 3 plates filled. I asked her to get bigger to go containers and she huffed her way back up front and then tossed em on the table at us. I saw no manager during our visit or they would have been called over. I don't have a doubt that we will all return to eat here but if she walks to the table, we will request a different server!! By the way, when we did pay, the bill was $67 and I paid with all $20's. She took my $80 in back and never brought out my change! I had to yell over to her to ask for my change. She rolled her eyes and walked in back and made change.
