Olive Garden Italian Restaurant — Restaurant in Wentzville

I normally never give a bad review but this was a really bad experience We sat down and patiently waited but not to long and the server came over seamed nice but a little nervous She asked to try wine and what drinks we wanted so we ordered drinks and wine Now we where patiently waiting for salad and bread sticks we eat Olive Garden a lot and know the routine But 10 minutes later still nothing and no waitress in the mean time the tables around us that came later not only got there salad and bread sticks but had refills on both and about this time a different server comes out with our wine so I let her know we hadn’t gotten our breadsticks or salad she said this girls in training so I said ok thinking if that’s the case for sure there’s someone gonna help her or check on her tables but not one time So finally about 40min into this we haven’t seen the waitress or anyone for refills on drinks or salad and bread sticks but our food arrives we ask for salad and breadsticks plus ketchup for fries ranch for chicken and pepper She said ok but never brought it finally after a good 15-20 min I went to the girls in the front the greeters and asked where to get sauce then we finally saw the the girl that brought the wine she said she was sorry and offered a desert the manager never came and apologized but offered someone a desert on a $100 meal with the worst service...

Bad from start to finish. Hostesses all pointed and said go sit there. Table was filthy, asked for it to be cleaned, got ignored. After 5 minutes hostess showed up with menus. Asked to get table cleaned again. Nothing. Used menu to scrape the table trash onto the floor. Tables around us got seated properly and got service before us. Waitress finally showed up. We ordered. Wife and I always get the unlimited soup and salad. Kids ordered what they usually do. 20 minutes later waitress comes by and asks how’s everything? Kinda weird since we had not received our food yet and the tables around us that arrived after all had their food and almost done eating already. Finally get our food. All cold. Wife and I finish our first bowl of soup regardless. Then our waitress disappears. We had to get the other waitresses to help. They were great and got us served quick. Finally our waitress comes back and asks how we’re doing? And says sorry it’s very busy and things are running slow. ( complete lie since other waiters and waitresses got their tables served with no issues). So really it was simply a bad experience, but we let it go until now. Me, and my wife and all 3 kids woke up around the same time in the middle of the night and we all are throwing up. So nothing like bad service and food poisoning to make...

The calamari has always been my favorite menu item. The first thing I noticed was the words "new recipe." I spoke with my server about it and she assured me it was better so I hesitantly ordered it. I also tried the Italian Mac and cheese with four meat sauce. Our salad arrived with dressing on the side as requested but missing croutons. An easy fix, but it was super busy and by the time the croutons arrived, my husband was done with his salad. I was about halfway through mine when entrees arrived. No calamari appetizer. Was it a sign from above? I should have just cancelled it but it arrived right behind the main course. Now, if you like lots of flavorful breading and overpowering dipping sauce (spicy ranch) and don't care for calamari at all, this is the dish for you. The rings were much smaller in size, so thick with breading, and chewy like rubber bands, I didn't even eat them. Our sweet server spoke with the manager and had it taken off our bill. Now, the Mac and cheese is a whole 'nother story. That was fantastic! I was super excited that I had a new favorite since I wouldn't be ordering the calamari again. I inquired about the availability of it only to discover it is only on the menu for a limited time. Of course! January 26 is your last chance to enjoy this tasty dish!...
