Waffle House — Restaurant in Wentzville

I think the cooks name is Anne not sure but i like women with some attitude they need it at the Waffle House to be strong but they deal with a lot crazy people its Waffle House come on. But when staff gives you inappropriate attitude back thats not a joke it becomes a problem. I’ve literally never said anything because I give a three strike policy and as a project manager for a very large construction company for the last 25 years I’ve heard every excuses and some of the worst attitudes in the world I’ve had a lot of backlash from peoples attitudes but I’ve been coming to that waffle House for 20 plus years before anne ever worked there. Tonight was my strike three for me P.S it was way more then three strikes for me she has never really been nice to anyone since shes worked there but it’s hit or miss anyways someone played a song. It was a catchy song with a catchy chorus and not only me but a couple other people were singing the chorus not loud by any means but Anne literally very rude told me that I needed to stop singing it and I was like wow she upset tonight It’s almost like she’s bipolar sorry just speaking the truth that was extremely rude I rushed to pay to my tab and I will never return when she working . That will hurt all other staff members that depend on regular customers eating habits there . To me that was extremely inappropriate when literally there was a other people singing it. When I got there there was a guy that had a microphone in there before I got there and was singing terrible so not sure if that’s whats started it. But I Will tell you this Anne has always been rude to paying customers I’m just the first to speak out about it and I will never return there...

There's a special certain part of America where you can find a waffle House. And once you've been there you know what you're missing when you travel and they aren't there.

Family road trip to St Louis from cedar Rapids brought us to this location and all of us were able to say exactly when we last been to a waffle House. Some it had been years.

Long enough for me that some items on the menu had changed but everything else was there. The service was friendly. The team worked as a team. If something wasn't right on an order they made it right. They kept checking on us and making sure our glasses were never empty. It's truck stop comfort food at its best. It's that safe place to stop on the road.

The folks at this location did a phenomenal job. They managed orders but took time to talk with their regulars. They checked in on us to make sure we were being taken care of and they double check to make sure they run us up correctly. It's so good to know that when you've got phone memories of a place and you stop in after being away for a while The memories can live up to the reality.

Very disappointing. I had dined here with my boyfriend back in October of 2023 and haven’t returned since tonight after the waitress was blatantly hitting on my boyfriend in front of me. I had decided that I wanted some quick breakfast food and stopped in around 12:30am. I had come here with my friend, we sat down and waited about 15 minutes for a server. We had been told that it would be a minute and that I did not mind. However there were only 3 people in the restaurant who were almost finished eating when we arrived. About 10 minutes in, 2 young men entered the restaurant and sat down and were attended to before we had even been given drinks. These boys received their meals, paid, and left just as we had received our food. The service was unacceptable and I say that as someone who has worked in the serving industry for several years. There is no reason that the service should have been this inattentive with as little people in this establishment as there was tonight. Again, very...
