Review: Overpriced, Underwhelming, and Forgotten

Dropped $56 on two entrĂ©es here and they somehow managed to forget one of them. Two entrĂ©es. That’s it. Hard to imagine how that slips through the cracks, but it did. When the missing dish finally showed up, it was as uninspired as the rest of the meal.

Most of the food was painfully average. The dips were bland, the sides tasted like an afterthought, and nothing carried the bright, bold flavors Greek food is known for. The only thing worth chewing on were the lamb chops—tender, seasoned properly, and clearly the lone item the kitchen knows how to execute. Everything else? Forgettable at best.

Service was just as bad as the food. Long waits, zero attentiveness, and not a hint of hospitality. Empty glasses sat untouched, and when the staff did appear, they acted like refilling water or checking an order was asking too much.

For $56, I expected at least competence. What I got was mediocrity with a side of indifference. If you’re craving for Greek, do yourself a favor and order from a food truck instead. How they got to 4.4 stars...

For Friday dinner, we decided to skip cooking and ordered from Cafe Zorba. After browsing their online menu, we opted for Tzatziki, the Chicken Souvlaki Platter, and a Chicken Gyro Sandwich.

The order was ready in just 20 minutes, and I picked it up from the cafe. From what I could see, Cafe Zorba had a great ambiance, complete with a charming outdoor seating area.

We started our meal with the Tzatziki and pita bread. It was a fantastic way to kick off dinner--the Tzatziki was creamy and flavorful, perfectly complementing the warm pita.

Next, we enjoyed the Chicken Souvlaki Platter and Chicken Gyro Sandwich. The chicken was well-cooked and nicely seasoned, served with a variety of sides including rice, pita, fries, and a fresh salad. The meal was delicious, and we particularly loved the Souvlaki Platter.

Overall, Cafe Zorba provided a delightful dining experience with tasty, well-prepared food. I highly recommend the Chicken Souvlaki Platter for its flavor...

What an outstanding place I have to say. Its a small restaurant with nice outdoor seating and some indoor as well. I was recommended to come here by a friend and glad I did. Everything was beyond wonderful. I believe it was the owner we talked to for some time and he was really kind. Food was amazing, very tasty and fresh, hookah was fantastic, seating was great, he gave us the iPad to choose the music and enjoy our time. I had the souvlaki platter, one chicken and one beef skewer and it was great! I got no fries and more salad. It was good. We were there till 11 which I believe they close at 10 but nobody said anything and they were letting us have our good time there. They are fairly a new place but with this kind of service, it'll one a spot to be at. The workers kept coming to check if we need anything and always checked on the charcoal and if we wanted any things before kitchen closes, etc. Thank you for the great night, food, and...

Hungry? Love Gyros? Me too. Stopped to eat off of I75 and came across this jewel in the forest of food vendors. Ordered the gyro. Marveled at how incredibly delicious this gyro was. And of course it was large enough for my friend and me to share but I ate the WHOLE THING!!! And to top it off the owner brought us out a basket of fries for us to try. Very yummy. I usually take pics of the food when I get it but this was so good it was eaten before my camera clicked. We will definitely be stopping by here again and if you’re like me and hunger for a great gyro, you will be, too.
