Mojo Grill Latin Fusion — Restaurant in Wesley Chapel

The food was amazing! I don't know how another reviewer got food with no seasoning. I got a bowl with ropa vieja, black beans, cuban slaw, and plantains. The slaw was so fresh and flavorful. The plantains and meat were cooked perfectly. Black beans were also seasoned well. However, I should have read the reviews before ordering 2 grande strawberry margaritas... this was hubby and I's kid-free date night so 2 margaritas seemed like a good idea. Well I was drunk by 9pm and I don't remember anything after 10:30pm. We were apparently having a karaoke party in our living room that included 90's hip hop, Nirvana, and Zumba with my 90lb dog??? I don't know what happened after that but my husband was happy. I woke up at 6am questioning my life choices and had to have Jose Ole taquitos for breakfast cuz... carbs. All in all it was 5 stars, but when we go back with the kids I will be skipping the margaritas or maybe only having one...

Wesley chapel you have a new cuban/fusion eatery. I stopped by to try this place out. My initial impression?? The ambience is modern in his motif as well as inviting to dine outside assuming the Florida weather does not choke you.

I like to rate my Cuban style restaurants by always trying out their Cuban sandwich first to see how good it is, well? you better order it! I thought it was that good again only one way to know for sure is to come back and have another.

I also gave their black beans a try and again another pleasant surprise. Usually I'm expecting disappointment not this time around hopefully the quality, the quantity and the friendliness of this restaurant will not fade over time.

This restaurant is located over at the crate section of the Grove shopping Center. I believe it's worth a try- hopefully you will be as pleasantly...

My boyfriend and I were very excited to try this restaurant after seeing it online and we even drove 30 minutes to get there and showed up just about 30 minutes before closing. When we walked in we weren’t even greeted at all as the employees were right there behind the counter in front of us. We stood there for about two minutes before the owner tells us very rude and abruptly “We’re closed”, when they definitely weren’t so we asked to confirm what time they apparently close because online shows the time, otherwise we would not have drove out so far. He proceeds to tell us “We’re closing now we ran out of food.” Not at all apologetic whatsoever, just totally uncaring and nonchalant. Terrible experience. It’s unfortunate that we didn’t get to try the food, but the service was awful that we definitely will not...
