Update - This place is still just as delicious as the last time we visited. This time we also tried the Gyoza and Chicken Hibachi. Delicious! The noodles and chicken both very flavorful. We visited around 5:30pm and it wasn't busy at all. It was great. I still highly recommend this to anyone wanting great tasting ramen! Original review Feb 2, 2023 - We tried Tasty Ramen for the first time. Never been to Krate Container Park and finally stopped in. We decided on Tasty Ramen. We ordered Tonkotsu Shoy Ramen & Krab Rangoon combo to go as it was late just before closing. Sorry! The ramen was delicious and perfectly cooked. Very flavorful and it really hit the spot. The Krab Rangoons were full, crunchy and creamy with a good amount of crab. We were very pleased. I could see us returning frequently. I'm seriously impressed that it is one person running the whole thing, at least when we visited on a Thursday night. That is one guy taking orders, cooking, serving, dish washing. The place was busy! He didn't have a chance to stop for a second until 9 when the doors closed. Crazy but he did great. You can eat inside as well as outside, he was even bringing the food to the customers outside. The guy was killing it. If he's an employee he deserves a raise and if he's the owner he deserves a vacation haha. They have a large patio area with plenty of seating to hang out. It was a nice atmosphere. Definitely recommend!

It was true to its name, “tasty ramen.” The food was very delicious and I felt the cost to food ratio was appropriate. Now with that being said the portion and cost ratio in my opinion is for two. I ordered the seafood ramen which is $20, but it was so much ramen for just one person. It would be nice if they offered a mini portion seafood ramen option for like $12, because unless you sharing you’re most likely not going to want to deal with leftovers and it seems like a waste. The restaurant was very clean, the atmosphere was good, the staff are very polite, kind and friendly. I ordered mushrooms for my Ramen and the cook forgot, however when I mentioned it to the server he quickly apologized and brought me some to add in myself. I was a little disappointed with how little bit they gave of the Narutomaki, I got maybe 4-5 paper thin ones. Which honestly is why I even went for the seafood option, but it wasn’t enough to taint the experience. Also when I ordered I did request a substitution, however the cook said no which is ok. I wanted the hibachi noodles instead of the ramen noodles for my seafood combo, because in my opinion they are much tastier than the ramen ones. It would be great if they offer that as an option even if there’s an up charge. Or even better offer a seafood hibachi noodles option maybe in the future? I would definitely recommend and I will return to try the different dishes.

So me and my gf ate this a few days ago and when we tried it we both noticed it had a weird taste to it. She only ate 3 bites and since I never had ramen before I thought it was normal so I just put a bunch of siracha in it. I should have known something was up when I noticed that the eggs was gray…. And the chicken had a fishy taste to it I only ate half the bowl before I said no more. A few hours went by and I started to not feel so good. I ended up throwing it all up… I was up till about 3am throwing up I had threw up so much that the only thang that was coming out was actual foam….. I was even throwing up the next day I couldn’t keep any food down and was stuck to the toilet. Also wasn’t a pleasant view of seeing new food come into the store being wheeled in on a cart in frozen bags…. I also spent $51 dollars on two ramens and two drinks expensive for what it is could have just went across the street to out back steak house and spent the same amount. I don’t recommend at all….

I visited Tasty Ramen several weeks ago. My experience at this ramen establishment left much to be desired. While it's not my favorite ramen place, it's worth noting that taste preferences can vary widely, and this review reflects my personal experience.

Firstly, I found the prices here to be on the higher side compared to other ramen joints in the area. This was a bit disappointing as I expected a better value for my money. I understand that the location is within KRATE, and it seems as if the rental prices here are high since nearly all stores in KRATE seem to be marked up a bit.

Additionally, the ramen featured some unconventional ingredients that diverged from traditional recipes. While innovation can be exciting, in this case, it didn't quite align with my expectations.

Another aspect that contributed to my less-than-stellar experience was the service. I was surprised when I asked for a cup of tap water and was told that I needed to purchase bottled water instead. This struck me as unusual, as providing tap water is a common practice in most restaurants. While it may not be a significant issue for everyone, I personally believe that complimentary water should be available to patrons.

In conclusion, while this ramen place might not have been my top choice, it's essential to remember that dining experiences can be subjective. The relatively higher prices and unconventional ingredients might not align with everyone's tastes, and the lack of free tap water could be a minor inconvenience for some.

Overall - glad I tried it, but likely...
