I'm always fair and honest when I leave a review. Let me start by saying I know this is a new place and they have things to work on to be better and I think they know that.
Like others have said some of the food items are really good and others are not so great. The butter Chicken had more heat than it did flavor. Sauce was not very creamy and what little chicken was actually in it was tiny little cut up strip that felt like it came from a frozen bag.
The Singapore rice noodles were absolutely delicious. Basmati rice was standard.
Chicken momos were very good. Padapam was decent.
The toughest thing for me was the gochujang beef tacos. Epic fail on these. Firstly on the menu it is not specified that they are wrapped in lettuce versus just having lettuce on them like tacos do. That was pretty disappointing but the peppers were delicious. I was very disappointed that they use the cheap red dye ginger, the beef was not very tender and even half of it I couldn't eat because it was just fat. The lettuce was very bitter. The puffed rice just absolutely ruins the dish because it doesn't have a crunch once it starts to absorb the liquid it just becomes these mushy bits. I would suggest taking the puffed rice off and putting them in an actual wrap or a naan.
The music was way too loud and obnoxious and we asked to be turned down which was quickly done. Then one of the servers goes and turns it back up. It was then turned down again and then throughout the meal at magically worked its way back up to a louder volume. This is a restaurant and should have ambient music not a club. Also the entire restaurant was empty except for us and one other party and somehow they decided to stick us right next to each other which was a little obnoxious considering the other party was very loud. My wife has to be seated away from others if possible since the place was completely empty and they did the exact opposite.
Service was attentive and the food came out very quickly. Overall the place is very friendly and I love the atmosphere but they have things that need to be worked on before I'll ever come back here. Our bill was $83 plus tip which I feel is pretty elevated for what we...
Read moreWe were planning to visit the Orlando branch but we were in Wesley Chapel so we took the opportunity to have our lunch here and it was a mixed bag. The food was absolutely delightful the presentation was nice. I had the butter chicken and it was one of the best butter chicken I had for a long time. My wife had the orange chicken and according to her better than the usual Chinese takeout store. However, the service left much to be desired. It was nice when we were seated the lady explained the lunch menu and the adds on that came with it. But as soon the order taker took our order it was bad. She was not familiar on the menu.. I said butter chicken with the $2 naan add on and she seems she dont know what I'm saying and when my wife told her she is going to have orange chicken in lunch menu the order taker asks her back if where is the orange chicken in the menu. And from there I knew she don't know what she is doing at least she don't know what they are offering which dampened the overall dining experience. After 5 minutes I asked for additional order gulab jamon and to add on the $4 Hakka noodles to my wife lunch order. I was surprised that she said that the haka noodles cannot be add because they are already making the food and I just told her if you cannot do anything or it cannot be done then forget it. I was not changing order but adding on... I cannot see why it cannot be done. Kept asking for water refill and we are not sure if soda is refillable because our soda was empty and no one bother to refill. Done with the lunch call the lady again for the dessert and surprisingly ask my wife what was the dessert we order... she just took the order like 15 minutes ago and she don't remember. In summary, if you're looking for a place with fantastic food and don't mind subpar service then visit them. But if good service is important to you, you might want to look elsewhere. I always tell my friend I will keep returning in a food place with mediocre food but excellent service than good food with...
