I came here for the first time just two months ago and it was amazing and I went again a couple of weeks ago with my boyfriend for a little treat in the afternoon. We were served by a heavy set woman wearing no gloves and her hair was messy, brunette, and sounds like a man. I really didn't think anything of it but later that same night I started getting symptoms of food poisoning. I didn't point fingers at this food location but that was the only place that I had gone to eat out that day and coincidentally the worker herself wasn't wearing gloves. I called in at work and called this location later that week to report the incident. It was the manager at the location who answered the phone. I told her the situation and asked what the heavyset womans name was as i gave her the description of the worker as best as I could but the manager refused to give any names which was alright, but I was not consoled at all about the situation. I asked for a refund but the manager refused and dismissed my case. I came back later that same night and asked one of the young workers what the name of the heavyset woman was and they stated that, that was their manager, Jodie. And it all hit me, the manager was the heavyset woman herself and she withheld information and acted as if she herself wasn't the one I was describing. I called again and instead of the manager it was a teenager who answered. I told her that i would like to report this to a higher up and she did not know the information. She asked why and I told her my situation and she mentioned that this wasn't the first time a customer had complained about getting food poisoning by the same woman. If you cherish your health greatly DO NOT COME TO THIS LOCATION. Food poisoning...
Read moreI have been going to the West Allis Coldstone Creamery for several years now. Most of the time the customer service is horrible. Today on August 24th 2025 I went to Coldstone with my girlfriend to get ice cream and I experienced the worst customer service I have ever had at this location. When my girlfriend and I walked into the Coldstone there was a boy probably around 16-18 years old working the front counter by himself. My girlfriend tells him the order and he then tells her that it is his first day and he does not know what he is doing. He then walks away to the backroom to get help. The owner shows up and then tries to help him. I say try because all she did was tell him he put in too much ice cream which she would then take away. After we got the ice cream my girlfriend gave the young man a gift card. He did not know how to scan it. For a while we all stood there because the owner left the area when our order was done. Thank God another high school aged young lady showed up and helped us out. There is no reason at all a person on their first day should be expected to do anything by themselves. The owner of the Coldstone is obviously selfish or lazy for assuming her first day employee could do anything by himself. The icing on the cake is the owner did not wear any gloves while getting the ice cream. I really hope she did not touch something gross before handling the ice cream! After today I will never go to this location again. I will go to other Coldstones. It may be an inconvenience but it is not worth the frustration. I strongly recommend nobody goes to this...
Read moreYou can tell that the owners don’t look at the google reviews as often as they should. When there with my family and saw like 3-4 different pieces of papers on the door. The one that was in front of me said. We will not allow anyone with any facial coverings. I would understand if it said something along the lines of. Please take your mask off before entering. But no facial coverings? What if someone who covers their face due to religious reasons come to the establishment. Are they going to deny them? Seems like border line discrimination.
When I tried to pay at the register, I was paying cash and the cashier had the manager come and speak to me because I was paying with a $50 bill. She said “our door said we don’t accept anything larger than a 20. Do you have anything smaller?” Mind you my order total was somewhere between $25-$30 and I didn’t. She’s like “we’re not supposed to, but I’ll take it.” Does the management of owners not know that counterfeit pens exist? And no, I’m not talking about the one that is just a marker. There is pens that have a little blue light and it’s so much easier to detect if a counterfeit is being presented when you use a pen. A little more training and that wouldn’t be an issue.
After I left, I couldn’t tell what the other signs under the door were, but it definitely looked very messy and unorganized. What am I supposed to do? Standard in front of the door for five minutes while I read every single sign before I enter the establishment?
The ice cream is good but the presentation/service could...
