McDonald's — Restaurant in West Baden Springs

We travel, frequently. We often find ourselves grabbing a quick sandwich and coffee when we’re on the road while enjoying a stretch. We also take the opportunity to use the restroom and wash our hands. To the manager/owner of this location-Disgraceful. I know you’re in the middle of a high traffic tourist trap town, and often the public is generally gross and disrespectful. We know, though we don’t fall into that category, we have seen it before. Sorry, but not an excuse. There was a guy power washing the outside facade and I told my husband, you should have him put on some PPE and hit both bathrooms. The worst I’ve seen in a long time and I see lots of bathrooms, especially fast food establishments. Absolutely gross. I ordered a special Big Mac meal with only Mayo and lettuce. The guy couldn't get it right on the screen. So when I pulled up to the window to get the food, I told the guy (because it was a different person) before he handed it out to me to make sure that it had only mayo and lettuce. The manager told me to pull forward. He came out with my food before I even had the car in park. I checked the fries to see if they were at least semi-hot. THEY WERE COLD!!! I took them back in, and the manager asked what they forgot. I asked if there was any way that I could get some fresh fries because those were cold. He said there is no way because that was why I was pulled up. I told him to put one in his mouth and see if he burns his mouth on it then. He grabbed the fry box over the top to throw it away. I came to this McDonald's expecting the same service I get in my hodunk local Wisconsin McDeez. I came in to see a wonderfully lit, ultra-modern, clean eatery. I went up to the line to order my food and a wonderful young lady took my order. She was such a looker I thought that we were related. I told her I wanted 15 McChickens and 4 Large Fries and a diet Coke, the superior drink. She asked if I would like the drink small, medium, or large, and I replied with "Let's make it a medium. I'm watching my figure." She smiled and laughed. Most would think she was being kind, but I know how my niece acts. So I know she was flirting back with me. My interaction with this establishment after her was very average, however all-around pleasant. 10/10 Would recommend this...
