Dairy Queen (Treats and Cakes) — Restaurant in West Bloomfield Township

I had a horrible experience here today!! I ordered an orange julius and it was disgusting. I asked the manager Taylor for an exchange for something of equal value and he told me I would have to still pay for half of the new item. Both items cost the exact same thing so I was totally confused about this policy that he said Dairy Queen has. I then asked for a refund and he said he couldn’t give me a refund because he made the drink correctly. I told him that it tasted NOTHING like an ORANGE JULIUS and he even agreed with me stating that they have changed the way that they now make the orange julius. So I asked him since he knows that it doesn’t taste like the customers are use to, it shouldn’t be a problem with him giving me a refund. He still said no refund. This disappoints that this is Dairy Queen policy and it shows me the their level of commitment to great customer service! While I was trying to order, the girl at the counter kept interrupting me to talk about some boy with who I'm guessing was one of her class mates. From the looks of it, she came up to her friends job to chat and play around. Which is also unprofessional. She kept apologizing for cutting me off to chat, but kept doing it. The service is terrible! They act like preschoolers! I stated that I wanted my blizzard well blended. The little boy making it asked her what I meant by well blended..She rolled her eyes, shrugged her shoulders and said "I don't know. Like water I guess". And then they both laughed. I'm sorry if I missed the joke. My wife asked to speak to a manager who was also acting like a child. We only go to this location because we live down the street. I'll just start going to 12mile. Just wanted to take the time to share a recent story here.

Me and my daughter frequent here a few times a month for our weekly oreo blizzard date. This past Monday was no different, only i left my wallet there and didn't realize it until it was hand delivered by a honest gentleman named Taylor that works there this morning.

I just want to say thank you so much for your kindness and honesty. Me and my family are extremely thankful. Its refreshing to know there are still upstanding and caring individuals that go above and beyond for those around them.

Ive frequented your location for 2 years since moving into West Bloomfield. Thank you for the excellent service and delicious and always fresh food served daily.
