The Boardwalk — Local services in West Bloomfield Township

Nice location for this plaza. The Boardwalk is clean, and well kept. During Christmas time, they put lights on the trees. It feels like Christmas day all Christmas season. They color coordinate the Christmas lights blue and white. There are stores on the Boardwalk and restaurants to try. We love State Deli! There is also a Dairy Queen on the corner or the plaza. There are also a couple of boutique stores and a small gem/ jewelry store. It's kid and dog friendly. Many people walk their dogs here. No public bathrooms. Bathrooms are located within the businesses. Trash cans are available outside of some businesses. This helps with keeping our neighborhood and environment clean! The plaza is on a busy street! Parents beware!! . Cars move very quickly 🚗🚙🏎️ The sidewalk is wide enough for families to walk safely👩🏾‍🦽🏃🏾‍♀️👩🏾‍🦯👩🏾‍🦼. The sidewalk is also safe for bike riders especially school age...

Many small shops conveniently located right off busy Orchard Lake Road. Getting out of parking lot can be difficult - best to use light on very north side of the lot. Also be warned parking spots are VERY small - door dings are possible, park in remote spots to protect doors...
