New York Bagel — Restaurant in West Bloomfield Township

My family and I have been loyal costumers to this place for years and years, but that just changed, unfortunately. I came in there today, Thursday 6/17 around 11 am, to get my bagels, lox and cream cheese on an egg bagel. I asked the gentleman behind the counter a question to make sure he was getting my order correct, being that I saw him grab a plain. Some other employee, a black woman, 3 different times looked up at me with the most evil look and “pfttttt” me, rolling her eyes, as if I’m not allowed to ensure my order is right before I PAY FOR IT?!?!?!? Newsflash- I WASNT EVEN SPEAKING TO YOU AND YOUR CUSTOMERS, LIKE MYSELF, MAKE YOUR PAYCHECK!!!!!!! I have never felt so unwelcome, unwanted and just down right uncomfortable in an establishment in my life. I will tell everyone I know to steer clear of this place with god awful and UNACCEPTABLE service!!! You chose customer service as your job; WE SHOULDN'T FEEL LIKE AN INCONVENIENCE TO YOUR DAY!! Its not okay to not inform customers about ingredients when they ask. Silly me I figured a parmesan bagel wouldnt have poppy seeds in it right? Wrong. And when i went back in to ask the girl at the counter had no idea and had to call, then offered to replace the bagel, when i told her how would we know if the other one had poppy seeds? She laughed, and said well ill just give you a plain one. The offered to REFILL my cup of cream cheese that i obviously was dipping the bagel in.(i didnt ask for a knife) which is absolutely unsanitary and disgusting. Nice girl but damn. poppy seeds can cause positive tests for opiates, i am sure im not the only one who has to take drug tests. The entire staff at New York Bagel are to be commented on their superior customer service.
