Costco Food Court — Restaurant in West Bountiful

Be very careful when you decide to order a whole pizza at Costco Bountiful. So I finish my shopping (over $300 as usual) and decide to order a whole pizza to take home to the family. Walk to the kiosk and purchase my pizza and I’m order #56. I wait… I wait… 30 minutes later they are calling up orders #’s in the 80’s so I go up to ask. They say sorry but whole pizzas have to wait their turn and we had a couple of large orders called in that are ahead of you. (Wish the kiosk would’ve said my 1 whole pizza was going to take over 50 minutes) 45 minutes later and the frozen items in my cart now defrosted, they are now calling numbers in the 100’s. A woman walks up to me and asked what number I am. She was #55. I told her I was #56 but they called her number 10 minutes ago. (Apparently they only call your number once and if you don’t hear them it’s your bad) she was visibly upset but thanked me as she walked away with her order. After 50 minutes my order #56 was called and my pizza was finally ready (Just after order #122 was called). Apparently management thinks this is a good policy. So the moral of this story is… if I would’ve ordered 6 individual slices and paid $1.99 more I would have had my whole pizza in 5 minutes. But because I ordered a whole pizza I was forced to wait 50 minutes with a shopping cart full of perishables.

The food here is quite delicious. They have the classic $1.49 hotdog and soda deal which is fantastic. They also have chicken bakes which have chicken, bacon, and caesar dressing wrapped in pizza dough. Those are my favorite item on the menu! They also have pepperoni and cheese pizzas here which are delicious. They also have really good strawberry and chocolate sundaes as well as churros. They also have a chicken caesar salad, and smoothies. The food here is a little greasy but it is quite affordable compared to other places. I highly recommend coming here for...

I love Costco. A Costco sheet cake and tub of Kirkland vanilla ice cream is heaven in my books. But, I just give them 5 stars until the pandemic is over and the sample tables go back to giving out ACTUAL samples of trail mix, mini hot dogs and Hot Pockets. None of this “here’s a cheese plate we’ve enclosed in a display case for your viewing pleasure.” No — just give me a sample.

So, yeah, I guess what I am saying is — go get vaccinated so we can get back to...
