I have been a loyal customer and visited many of your locations since your opening, but my experience at the Bountiful location on January 24th, 2025, was deeply disappointing. This was, by far, the worst experience I’ve had at any of your establishments.
When we placed our order, we specifically requested no onions in one of our salads. The person taking the order acknowledged our request, and we were confident everything would be correct. However, when the food was delivered, the salad still had onions. We kindly pointed out the mistake, and the girl who brought the food apologized and offered to have the salad remade. She even mentioned we could keep the original salad, as they don’t take food back. This gesture was appreciated, and at that moment, I was impressed by her professionalism.
Unfortunately, what followed completely soured our experience. When the girl went back to have the salad remade, the person in charge of the drive-through intervened, questioning whether we had actually asked for no onions. They were laughing in the background, creating an unprofessional and uncomfortable atmosphere.
When the new salad was brought out, the person with the drive-through headset took back the original salad, despite the previous promise that we could keep it. I explained that it had been offered to us as a courtesy, but she insisted on taking it, saying she’d rather throw it away. Her tone, attitude, and behavior were entirely unacceptable.
I felt insulted and hurt by the implication that I was trying to take advantage of the situation or “steal” food. This was not about the complimentary salad—it was about how we were treated. None of us even touched the original salad, but the way this situation was handled was incredibly disrespectful.
I’ve recommended your business to friends, family, and coworkers in the past, but this experience has completely shattered my confidence in your service. The tone, attitude, and assumptions made by the drive-through worker were not reflective of someone who should be working in the service industry, particularly in a business that asks for tips before service is even rendered.
I’m highly disappointed and cannot recommend this location to anyone unless a sincere apology is made and this situation is addressed. Your customers...
Read moreI walked out. You have good staff. But your price is ridiculous. I primarily eat organic. I was excited when I walked up, it said organic food. But I walked in saw your prices tried to rationalize buying something. All you had were burgers, salads, and sandwiches. There’s nothing that’s a meal. At all. You literally have snack food. Sandwiches? Burgers? And salads? Nothing of real substance not even a decent rice bowl. A lot of tacos. Most people whom eat organic in America don’t want burgers and sandwiches.
We eat organically so we can have a decent whole meal.
Who cares if your meat came from Chicago, 🤷🏾♂️ I can buy it for less.
Your business is not in competition and you’re about to go out of business. You have the worst management and ownership. It’s what’s known as prima fascia or heir apparent, you don’t have business, there’s a poke bowl next door I went got some spam musubi wrapped in plastic. 🤷🏾♂️
So if you see so many bad reviews on just pricing, as an owner or manager why would you not correct it ? Or atleast be competitive? Even the good reviews talk about the price? So why not cater to them?
Most people don’t come back because of the price. I asked your staff if it’s always slow like this it was an emphatic yes. Not only that they say a majority of the people come in do what I do see the prices look for something decently priced, when we can’t find it then we walk out.
You must not be able to keep staff, because that’s pretty demoralizing.
It’s not really healthy or a good deal if we can go to the store and buy it for less. Yes cooked items you can get at sprouts or whole food for less. 🤷🏾♂️
So…. It may taste good I’ll never know, but it’s honestly not worth it. Any restraint that has prices like this is gouging the market.
Oh I grew up in a restaurant. My grandparents restaurant. All the food was organic.
The restaurant is still open to this day even though they are not here any longer.
In all reality everyone is tired of rip off prices for food. 🤷🏾♂️
I did edit this review. Nice people to boycott places that price gouge then say as they do cost for employees.
Most these places barely pay a median salary. Also you have migrant labor in your kitchen for fractional cost.
Se hablamos espanol. 🤷🏾♂️
Boycott is in order...
Read moreI was sorely disappointed in our experience here. I really don’t like trying new places because you never know what you’re going to get. But my husband and I wanted to try it out. I had the La Squish double and my husband had the tri-tip sandwich. We also had rosemary fries and a Diet Coke. I was shocked to see all this was going to cost us $25!! I was hoping it’d be awesome. It wasn’t. Both of our sandwiches looked like they came from McDonald’s, sad burgers. The fries were good but we definitely could have used more. My burger was good. It was just on the small side and I don’t eat a ton of food in one sitting. My husband said his tri-tip tasted like something he’d make out of left overs but the leftovers he’d make would be way better than his sandwich. We both left wanting more…more food and definitely a better sandwich for my husband. Unfortunately, our first experience will be our last. While I was eating my burger I kept looking over at Cafe Rio wishing we would have eaten there. We would have spent less money and I’d have leftovers and more reward points. The concept is good but the portions need to be way bigger for the cost and the meat needs to be a much better quality. My husband thought at one point he bit into a piece of plastic his meat was so tough. Sad this isn’t a new favorite. It was actually one of the worst dining experiences we’ve had and we eat out once a week. If you want a burger go to In-n-Out or Five Guys. At least at Five Guys you spend almost the same amount of money but it’s yummy and it’s difficult to finish the food since there’s so much. Cubby’s, I really wanted to love you but our experience was the...
