Graeter's Ice Cream — Restaurant in West Chester Township

The first two young people that helped me were great and very friendly, even though the online order placed 24 hours the night before was not found. The manager however talked down to them and comes off very aggressive for no reason. “ He doesn’t know what he’s talking about”, is what she stated to me when the cashier mentioned the transaction had gone through on my debit card. Something was happening electronically with their system so my receipt was not showing up. I showed her the transaction paid on my debit card and she still refused to let me leave. She then stated she needed my number to have the I.T department call me. I gave her my number and left. She then proceeded to call me on my way home and tell me my receipt printed as I was leaving and asked me if I wanted a copy but in a very condescending tone. Of course I said no. Why would I want to turn around and drive back after that experience to get a paper receipt when I had the transaction on my phone, that I showed her? This was the most rude, weirdest and odd transaction I’ve ever had just trying to get an ice cream cake. Great place,...

This Graeter's location is my favorite. The service is always extremely good and everyone is so welcoming. I love the ice cream there so much. It is definitely my favorite ice cream shop.

The West Chester Graeter's has pretty satisfactory accessibility overall. There are handicap parking spots in front of the building, there is open space inside the store, and the bathrooms are big enough to use for pretty everyone. The employees are helpful and accommodating so if anyone were to need any special services, I'm sure the people who work there could help. The only thing they could improve on is a menu that is easier to read because the writing is a little small. There are good seating options inside and outside so people can choose where they want to sit.

First time at this particular Graeter's. First, make sure you sign up for their rewards program. In addition to special promos like a free ice cream cone, you get a free sundae on your birthday with 2 scoops of ice cream. That's what brought us in today a birthday ice cream treat plus a free cone. $0 paid. At any rate. You'll want to visit anyway because their ice cream is great. Service was nice as usual, they seem to advocate for a positive experience and staff seem to like working at most Graeter's I've been too. Nice location. A couple of extra notes, the whip cream is thick, not cool whip, but actual whipped heavy cream. The butterscotch and caramel are also better than normal.
