I've had never been to this restaurant before but had heard good things about it. So one day when I was hungry and in the neighborhood I decided to go there. First of all when they sat us and handed us the menus like it was like any other restaurant. I looked over the menu and choose the eggs Benedict. My companion and I ordered and the waitress walked away. 3 minutes later she returns to inform me that they had run out of one of the ingredients for my order and if I would like something else. She then informed me that I should make my decision quickly because the kitchen was shutting down in 15 minutes. I guess part of the blame should be on me for not looking at the hours of operation and the other part would be on the people that sat us and did not warn us about the time. So I look over the menu quickly and order something else that looks tasty. I received the order quickly. The menu had neglected to say that my biscuits and gravy would have poached eggs in them. This combo turns my stomach. Runny whites turn my stomach. The kitchen turned out the meal so fast the poached eggs still had slightly runny whites. When I tried to extract the eggs so I could try and eat what I ordered they just burst from not being cooked enough and ruined any chance I had at eating. So by the time I got my food I was starving and received something that was absolutely revolting with no way of getting any other food. My only choice at that point would be to send it back and stare at the window or try to somehow stomach what was in front of me. I informed the staff and they did not really seem that genuine about any of the issues. They were just trying their best to get everything tied up so they could close. They didn't take it off my check, offer any kind of discount, or any sincere apologies. Sorry for the lengthy description but I feel my whole experience should help the business to address these issues and also help any people who may be deciding if they should go there. So lesson is 1 they close early and the kitchen closes even earlier than they do so make sure that you know the time they close before you go. 2 make sure that to ask what exactly comes on or with any of their meals to make sure that you do not encounter what I did. 3 they are nice until they want to get you out of there then they are just cordial. As I said I really did not get to eat the meals I ordered so I can't exactly comment on the quality of the food....

Read moreI have visited Cozy Corner for over 18 years. In addition, my family & I have drove almost an hour for Sunday breakfast for almost 7 years of the 18 ( call it commitment).
The food has great flavor, & they serve normal portions; however since the location was remodeled the prices have sky rocketed. Also the food quality diminished greatly. For example, a NY steak taste like an old frozen, rubbery piece of weird man made meat.
A family of 2 adults, 2 minors & on budget can come out with a $50 bill, that's not including gratuity.
Today, we had a party of 5, we drank water, except for 1 coffee. We also chose the daily especial menu (combos $4.99 - $8 old prices) with new prices of $9.99 & higher. *Not to say a skillet in the regular menu was $15! Yes, $15! Can you say Red Lobster!
The bill was approximately $63 gratuity included. Staff is always great though.
Mr. Peter, huns, it is time to consider the customers who helped you expand with their business. Families can no longer afford your great explosion.
Thank you Cozy for many years, however my family will not drive an hour to see you for a long time.
P.s. I also included an image of our bill, review...
