⚠️ ⚠️ I will never in my life forget eating at this restaurant...almost 20 years ago. I shared a Dona Naty burrito with my friend. We both got seriously ill with E Coli. I was so sick I almost died. I spent about a week in the hospital. My friend was lucky, he was released from the hospital. Not me! The hospital documented everything. EVERYTHING, from what I had eaten, what time I ate. Every test you could imagine. It was the Dona Naty burrito I ate. I spoke to the owner, he apologized, then told me to send over the hospital bills (whom I assume, had already been notified by the Health Department)....when I informed him, I was in ICU and in a hospital bed fighting for my life... his tone changed Real Quick. He said I would need to contact his lawyers. That was the last time I ever spoke to him. I was young then, and at the time, I chose to not go forward with a lawsuit...but now? I probably would’ve sued for every dollar of those medical bills. My Point is BE VERY CAREFUL WHERE YOU EAT!
By the Grace of God, I’m here, alive, to give my review....even if it is almost 20 years later....
Read moreDonna Natys is a solid neighborhood taco joint! We've been coming just over 3.5 years. Family owned and operated. It's small and friendly. Of course the food is really good and why we've come back time and again. It's not just good food that keeps people stopping in. I've often raved about a particular employee to my husband, but for some reason never thought to write a review. Tonight he was our server. I watched him juggle all the customers coming and going while running food and checking in on his tables. He didn't skip a beat. I'm seriously impressed by, and look forward to seeing Ohani (young guy, the owners son). Seriously the kid is consistently professional, polite, hardworking, and nice. He is on top of all required to manage the establishment; answers the phones, greets customers, takes orders, serves the tables, cashes people out, and packs up the to go's all with a smile. Not to mention among the few places we can go where they've never messed up a carry out. Your dad should be very proud! Your parents have done a fine job in raising you! Keep up...
Read moreThis place is an absolute treasure. From the moment you walk in, you’re wrapped in the warmth of true Mexican hospitality—it feels less like a restaurant and more like being welcomed into someone’s home. The atmosphere is inviting, the service is genuine, and the food? Fantastic.
The tacos are seasoned well (don’t miss the al pastor and asada), the burritos are generously stuffed and packed with flavor, and the horchata is perfectly spiced—smooth, refreshing, and just the right amount of sweet. And in a world where any extras are disappearing, they might just be the last restaurant in America that still brings complimentary chips and salsa to your table (along with mini tortilla soups and rice pudding for dessert when we stopped in last night!)
If you're looking for an authentic, heartwarming dining experience, this is it. A must-visit for any food...
