I ordered an ooey gooey and a super ooey gooey for takeout and specifically told the gentleman on the phone to not add a specific ingredient to the ooey gooey burger due to allergies.
Upon pick up I didn't see the requested ingredient removed on the receipt so I thought maybe they verbally communicated the request.
After getting home to eat.
The poet gooey, (which was supposed to not have the ingredient I asked for on it), had everything on it and my super ooey gooey didn't have the ingredient that was requested for the other burger.
I called the restaurant in hopes to address the problem.
And the gentleman on the phone said he told his cook to remove the ingredient from the burger and the cook stated he did.
So I guess he didn't see the importance of the situation and remained silent. The burger being contaminated with the ingredient.
We had to throw out that $12 dollar burger.
With the bad customer service he was giving. I asked to speak to a manager and he ended up saying there's no managers at night only in the morning. Horrible on the managers behalf leaving no one in charge at nights for these types of situations .
I work mornings and come out late at night with out being able to contact the managers in the morning .
Horrible customer service and management.
Cooks do not take responsibility of the importance of food allergens.
As well as the overnight staff for not correctly addressing requests of ingredients a customer is...
Read moreLet’s preface that this was a pick up order, The mind blowing thing is that to pick up an order you have to wait behind people that are ordering which I think is crazy , people ordering and paying all on the spot then you come say your name to pick up when obviously someone else behind the counter could’ve helped but didn’t even entertain the idea to help so let’s start with terrible service. My order was ready from the moment I was there but standing in line behind several people to just say the name to pick up my food. Terrible.
Now the food, is not great, burger was meh like honestly to pay THAT much for a burger and get this terrible service and and 5/10 burger and then pay some more for bacon on it which was not cooked great , better go to small cheval honestly. I ordered mine plain just cheese and bacon and the other we ordered was their original with all the vegetables that made the burger soggy and not taste as good.
What might be a saving grace for this place that maybe it is open late and if people were drunk this would be a great place to get food but I would still pick McDonald’s and maybe the other saving grace might be the patio but with Chicago’s flip flop weather nothing is guaranteed.
Overall I would probably not order for pick up again and of course wouldn’t recommend. I don’t usually leave bad reviews but this...
Read moreWho are you, and where did you come from? I honestly cannot remember when I bookmarked this place, but I do remember it being on my cycling route while headed downtown via Chicago Ave. After visually seeing 'Fatso's Last Stand' due to its Captain Crunch look-a-like character being plastered on the building it was love at first sight, and only a matter of time before I made my initial in-store visit.
Don't judge me! Prior to my initial in-store visit I did cycle 13 miles, and did a ab burning workout because I knew what was in store for me, plus I knew damn well that there was the possibility of being put in a food coma due to certain flawless items on their menu, hehe.
As for my order, I ordered the Veggie Dog w/fries, then later ordered a Single Fatso Burger w/cheese to go because the Veggie Dog wasn't filling for me. As for the Single Fastso, it was by far the best burger that I have had in a while. And I absolutely cannot wait to have another, plus try a few other items on their menu, such as the Ooey Gooey, Char Dog, Adult Mac, and one of the Fatso Shakes due recommendation in a review by Monica E.
And lastly, parking is no issue at Fatso's because they have their own parking lot, plus neighborhood parking option if it gets too...
