I have always been a huge fan of Lonesome Rose. I have friends who worked there for years and spoke highly of Lonesome Rose and the culture of Land and Sea co. Years of being a patron at Lonesome I have never had anything short of a great experience. Unfortunately, the same cannot be said about my first visit to Golden Teardrops, the bar down stairs. When we (all people of color) did not feel welcomed. As soon as we headed down my friend pointed out the offensive shackles on the wall! Why is the decor?! You gotta comeout of Lonesome Rose, take a left on North Point St, another left on West Henry CT and you would see a black metallic stairs to the basement with a small black name board, written in gold color. They don't serve food though. One of the smoothest Cognac cocktails that I've had (Hot Flashes). Definitely worth checking it out. Very nice...
