I will NEVER go to the establishment again during these trying time my partner and I would like to support as many restaurant and small business This establishment will not be one of them. Yesterday I was Decline service in there worst way imaginable. For Being BLACK ! We came in waited to be seated 20min which was fine. We called before hand. After being seated we place our order for 2 drinks and 2 dinners. Waitress seem nice took our order 1hr later after seeing 10 other guess come in the restaurant. Group ranging from party of 2 and one group there was 8 guest NON AA!! I witness everyone meals come out but No on ever came back to my table I didn't say anything I just waited and waited . I'm only aware of this because we are seated by the door never brought water and it wasn't until one of the 5 staff members ask us "what did we order" It was very clear I'm a AA male with a Hispanic women. We ask to speak to someone a rude host came and said it was the meat we order and just smile. We said we would pay for our drinks and leave he told us don't and we politely left. I'm only writing this because this was embarrassing to my partner she highly recommended the restaurant she has been a guess before but never ever thought it would treat us like we was Jim Crow days. We are both professional in education and medical industry and I still don't understand why. So I will Never recommend this place speak of it again and will take my hard earn money...

This place was better on this last visit than last for several reasons. First know that there is complimentary parking right next door, just come from the alley to get in. Once inside we were seated right away and the servers were helpful and efficient. As for the food, we tried Camarones zarandeados, they were great, the sauce was spicy yet not as much that it was overwhelming. The Langostinos were also great, since they were fresh and offered a great presentation. As far as the oysters, they were fresh and come with shrimp as well as chopped onions, tomato and more so it gave it a great flavor. And as presentation goes, the Pina rellena was also amazing, with its sweet and full of flavor we enjoyed every single piece. The Camarones Empanizados came with tortilla and sauce and I was full but I managed to eat a few tacos. As for drinks, we tried the Cadillacs and they were on the sweet side but then again margaritas are also sweet.

Overall, the service was great, we were offered service a few times without being pushy, as soon as the plates were empty, someone came around to take them away, the water kept filling up without asking. The food was fresh and full of happy flavors. We have to come back and try other dishes to update my review.

As for the seating, the restaurant offers tables for smaller groups and also they do combine tables for a larger group. Parking is free next door and you can park on the main avenue at the...

New seafood place opened up! Read the reviews and decided it was worth a visit. GREAT dining experience!! The seasoning on the food was delicious and just right. The food here is amazing and very well priced for the portions. Caught an eye full of what the other tables were having and tbh we wanted to try it all. We ended up going with the mixed seafood platter that had a generous serving for 2 people, so generous, we were able to take some home!

Service was great as well! Everyone from the super helpful waitress who gave us the rundown on the menu and good suggestion, to the runners that were SO helpful and friendly and didn't hesitate to take your order as well.

Decor has great signage (love the nuclear symbol that indicates where the bathroom is) and the place itself is very spacious so you don't feel cramped. This place is great for large groups!

Having grown up in this specific area I'm happy to say this restaurant is definitely now one of our regular go to joints!

This review has been updated to inform this place is no longer byo. They now have their liquor license and can serve beer and drinks out of their bar. Pricey but the margaritas and micheladas are oversized so you get what...

La Costa West Town is a gem that embodies all that we should appreciate in life: purpose, joy, and connection through food. If you’re someone who values delicious food, warm service, and a welcoming atmosphere, then this place is for you. If not, well, this might not be your spot. From the moment I walked in, the service was outstanding. Every member of the staff was attentive and genuinely seemed to care about my experience. It’s rare to find a place where you feel truly valued, but La Costa is one of those rare finds. The tostadas and salsas are nothing short of divine. The flavors are vibrant, each bite carrying a sense of authenticity and love for the craft. And then, there’s the garlic shrimp with fries. This dish was a revelation. The shrimp were tender, perfectly seasoned with garlic, and paired wonderfully with crispy fries. Each element on the plate—from the beans to the rice, and even the small side of fresh salad and orange slice—was crafted with care. La Costa West Town serves more than just a meal; it offers an experience that feels like a warm embrace from the universe. I left feeling not just satisfied, but grateful for the moment.
