I had the pleasure of dining at Hamburger Restaurant in Chicago this past Saturday, and I must say, it was an extraordinary experience from start to finish. This place has captured the essence of delicious food combined with a truly unique atmosphere.

First and foremost, the taste of the hamburgers blew me away. Each bite was bursting with flavor and made with high-quality ingredients. The chefs at Hamburger Restaurant have truly mastered the art of creating mouthwatering burgers. The combination of perfectly cooked patties, fresh toppings, and their secret sauce resulted in an explosion of flavors that left me craving more.

But the highlights didn't stop there! I also had the opportunity to try their garlic sauce for fries, and let me tell you, it was absolutely divine. The creamy and savory garlic flavor elevated the fries to a whole new level. It was the perfect accompaniment to the already outstanding burgers and added an extra layer of deliciousness to the meal.

What sets Hamburger Restaurant apart from other burger joints is its captivating themes. As soon as I stepped through the doors, I was transported to a whole new world. The attention to detail in the decor is remarkable. From the vintage-inspired furnishings to the playful murals on the walls, it's clear that the restaurant has been meticulously designed to create a unique dining experience. Each corner of the restaurant tells a different story, making it a treat for the eyes as well as the taste buds.

Beyond the aesthetics, the atmosphere inside the restaurant is undeniably cool. The combination of dim lighting, well-curated music, and friendly staff created a relaxed and enjoyable ambiance. It's the kind of place where you can unwind, enjoy your meal, and have a great time with friends or family.

The service at Hamburger Restaurant was excellent as well. The staff members were attentive, knowledgeable, and passionate about the food they served. They were happy to answer any questions and made sure that each customer felt welcomed and taken care of throughout their dining experience.

In conclusion, if you're looking for an exceptional burger joint in Chicago, I highly recommend Hamburger Restaurant. The amazing taste of their burgers, the delectable garlic sauce for fries, combined with the unique themes and cool atmosphere make it a must-visit spot. Whether you're a burger enthusiast or simply looking for a memorable dining experience, this place will not disappoint. I'm already planning my next visit to try out more of their...

Don’t let the aesthetic fool you. I came in with very high hopes based on the reviews and almost 5 star rating, but I won’t be coming back. When I ordered, all tabs were offline for beer, we received a buzzer to get our food, but the next people after us were served at the table. It was not busy, as we were the only people in there besides the couple that came in after us. The women at the counter, who served the food to the couple besides us, had on AirPods and was very forgetful of the order I had along with the couple after us. I understand the aesthetic of eating outside and having the backyard experience, but at least take care of the area. Keep in mind, there is literally grass on the tables, this cannot get disinfected and was rather tall when we stopped by. Maybe cut it, if you’re opening the space up already? The chairs and tables were clearly left out all winter, without being covered, so there’s damage to them and a lot of the surrounding area.

All this could have been overlooked because life happens and maybe the owner is busy, but how can I overlook this if the food wasn’t up to the hype?

Let me break this down, the paddy was juicy, but everything else was mediocre, if not terrible. The paddy wasn’t rested, so the bun becomes very soggy (it should’ve been toasted if this is the case) especially with the overwhelming amount of sauce on the burger. At the end, it just felt like a sloppy mess that couldn’t even be consumed fully. Maybe it was the chef or recipe, but if I’m paying $50 for 2 burgers, fries (which were truffle and the truffle didn’t taste right) and a beer I expect excellence service and food. I received none of that and don’t expect to be back.

Do yourself the favor and find another place...

The best veggie burger I’ve had in this city so far! 🍔

What makes this place stand out is the flexibility to swap any burger patty on the menu with an Impossible Meat option. This thoughtful approach not only caters to those like me who don't eat meat but also ensures that I get to taste the same flavor as anyone else who eats here.

Food: I tried the Sweet Burger and added caramelized onions, paired with the Truffle Parmesan Fries. The combination was a flavor explosion—absolutely a 5/5.

Atmosphere: The ambiance strikes a perfect balance between modern and natural, with a foresty vibe that I really appreciated. There’s ample seating both indoors and outdoors, plus easily accessible complimentary water. Another 5/5.

Service: The service was limited to ordering at the counter, but the staff member was both friendly and efficient. A seamless experience, deserving of a 5/5.

Bonus: They offer a punch card for a free burger after ten purchases, which is a fantastic incentive to keep coming back—aside from the amazing taste, of course.

Lawn Hamburger & Shawarma is a must-visit for any burger enthusiast in Chicago, whether you’re a local or just...

I tried the chicken teriyaki shawarma and it was absolutely delicious — juicy, flavorful, and perfectly wrapped. The portion was generous, and the balance of flavors really stood out. On top of that, the outdoor seating area is cozy and full of character, with greenery all around that makes it feel like a hidden gem. Definitely a spot I’d recommend and come back to again!
