Niles Mediterranean Grill — Restaurant in West Chicago Township

I came across this restaurant by accident towards the end of November 2021 and they've already secured one of the position in my favorite top 5 restaurant in the city and we're only in Jan 2022. Their hummus is what caught my attention at first and and now an order from them is a weekly treat. I can't wait till they (hopefully) one day have a sit down location. Another thing I would like to point out in their customer service - they truly listen and act upon suggestions which is great.

I had a delivery order from this restaurant and it was disappointing. The chicken shawarma was bland; the lettuce was so wet it overpowered the whole sandwich, the bread was soggy, and I cannot emphasize enough how tasteless the chicken was...The beef sandwich was better but still could have been more seasoned. The falafel sandwich was just fine, although the bread was soggy and it was a bit on the dry side. All in all, I would not go out of my way to order from this place again. I love Mediterranean food and let me tell you, this place is simply the best! I had the combination platter with chicken and steak kabob and of course falafel…Everything was so delicious and full of flavor! Falafel was especially very tasteful and crispy. Hummus was perfect, meat was cooked to perfection, the veggies were fresh as well as the rice was fresh and perfectly seasoned. The garlic sauce it was served with was phenomenal! Definitely recommend this place...
