Sandman Sleep Online Mattress Store — Hotel in Chicago

WOW!!! was my first impression walking into Sandman Sleep in Chicago and we were kindly greeted with open arms by Glenn Fillicaro!! This guy is amazing and has a wonderful personality and ultimately cares about his customers which let's face it that's rare! These days he made this so easy and comfortable for us because they take the time to what they call fitting you for the correct mattresses for your needs! And we now will be looking forward to going to bed as Glenn said that is the way it's supposed to be because of how important sleep is!!!. I can't thank Glenn the showroom manager enough for the amazing experience in the showroom!!! Thank you Glenn a million times over and so other than just having a place to try these beds out that you can't try anywhere else in the Midwest and they have If I remember correctly 25 to maybe 28 online mattresses that are the most popular by far it's also the ones my wife and I were doing all the research on we now wish we would have just found this Gem of a place earlier would have saved us HOURS! OF RESEARCH! Because research on these mattresses is too subjective. it's located in a very nice part of the city of Chicago River North we a from Madison Wisconsin to go there that's a 3-hour drive but by far well worth it!! We ended up buying an awesome Nest Bedding Hybrid latex cooling mattress and now I can't wait for it to get here and toss the old one out. We ended up getting a king mattress and sleep bundle which was 2 AMAZINGLY COOL AND COMFORTABLE Carbon cool with what they call omni phase cooling technology SHOULDER CUT-OUT PILLOWS!!! they have some new crazy technology plows that sleep cool and help relieve my neck pain because I needed a good pillow for me being a side sleeper which we also found out the majority or people sleep or end up on their side. They also have an unbelievable matching mattress protector that is highly breathable and they are NOT like those old ones that feel like you are sleeping on plastic I wilm be recommending everyone I know and talk to about Sandman Sleep!!! We HIGHLY RECOMMEND SANDMAN SLEEP and Glenn is not only unbelievably knowledgeable and great at what he does he makes it feel like you are buying from a friend not a typical salesperson. This is the place to go for your mattress. I had an exceptional shopping experience at Sandman, which first and foremost was because of Glenn. After the first time going into the store I left not knowing exactly what I wanted, but certain that whichever mattress I decided upon would be bought here because Glenn is great and I appreciate being able to support a small business rather than a huge chain like Mattress firm. Glenn is knowledgable, helpful, and not pushy at all. He even stayed past closing because I had just arrived at 4:40, only 20 min before close that day, and he wanted to make sure I had time to try each of the beds that had potential to be best suited to me.

Buying a mattress is a substantial investment and often a difficult process that includes outrageous restocking and return fees if the experience sleeping 8 hours on a mattress is different than 15 minutes on it in store (It will be). However, I am confident that regardless of if the mattress I chose (which Glenn was able to get me a better discount on than any code found online) works for me or not, Glenn will make sure the customer experience continues to be excellent and any potential exchange/return process is seamless.

As someone who has auto-immune inflammation it can be very difficult to find the right fit and comfort. Having the opportunity to try these mattresses in store rather than rolling the dice, and knowing that Sandman & Glenn have relationships with these manufacturers, and in case of any issues, will continue to be a resource after the sale is made, makes it so much easier to shop...

This was a terrific purchasing experience from end to end. First, Sandman Sleep takes the risk out of buying an “online only” mattress. They have every major brand and several models of each. Second, Glenn has been in the business for over 20 years. He knows the old brands. He knows the new brands. He knows which mattresses are best for side sleepers, back sleepers, stomach sleepers. Whatever it is, Glenn knows. Listen to him.

When I went in, I sat on a few of the mattresses (major mistake – who sleeps sitting up?) and then Glenn took over. He walked me around the selection of mattresses and explained the differences and then asked about my sleep habits. I had a couple that seemed good and one that I was very close to buying but wanted to try. The “close” candidate, which was voted #1 in a couple of evaluation articles, was a disaster. I was very thankful that I had visited Sandman and experienced it. Glenn gave me all the time in the world and for 3 hours I tested the mattresses. I bought a Wink Luxury Firm which was the one that Glenn recommended to begin with.

Delivery was perfect. Omar and his team member showed up right on time, helped me zip the cover onto the all-wood foundation that Glenn had recommended and we had the mattress on the bed and the old mattress and box spring out the door in under 30 minutes.
