Traveled to Chicago around February and visited on a Saturday. I can’t tell you how the food tasted because I never got my food. I was with a group of 4 so while everyone else got their food, I just waited. Either the servers would come to apologize or we would have to get their attention to get an update on my food. I was a bit annoyed but what really got me is everyone who came after us would get their food before me. There was definitely some miscommunication happening among the staff because I didn’t order anything fancy, all I ordered was chicken! The same plate someone else in my group ordered! Best Ecuadorian restaurant in Chicago, hands down, preferred by everyone in our Ecuadorian-American family. We like most everything, especially the Ceviches, soups and appetizers. Also, try the Ecuadorian Bistec (skirt steak simmered with delicious onions, tomatoes and green peppers), Seco de Gallina (chicken stew), Corvina frita (pan fried fish), Fritada (deep fried pork chunks with potato patties stuffed with cheese), Rice or Spaghetti with Seafood, Arroz con Menestra y Pechuga de Pollo (rice, lentils or beans, and pan fried chicken breast) and Churrasco (a Southamerican steak and french fries staple).

Fruit juices are pretty good too. Kids like the Salchipapas (fries with pan fried hot dog wieners) and cheese Empanadas. It's a BYOB so bring some...

Poor customer service. Placed an order a day before for pick up at 11:45 am …. I show up at noon and my order wasn’t ready. Then an employee not working in the kitchen decides to tell me that because I showed up 15 minutes late that now I had to wait an extra 30 minutes for my order to be warmed up because now it was cold. What a liar! The girl at the counter decides to be honest with me and let me know that they had just started making my order 5 minutes before I arrived. What horrible customer service they provide.
