Greenhouse Loft — Attraction in West Chicago Township

This was the perfect venue for our wedding! All of the staff were so helpful! I planned the wedding myself, and obviously I missed some details. They looked out for us, and took our vibes into mind. There was 2 employees there as Venue Coordinators. They helped transform the space after the ceremony. They also helped time us down the Aisle.

Spencer is the owner, and he made the process so much easier on us. He answered all our Q’s and was kind and patient with us! Callie met with us at the pre wedding meetings, I clearly had no clue what I was doing, and she was there to help me get my sh** together. She put up with my not knowing ANYTHING, and patiently answered all of my q’s! She also knew and understood my vision, and looked out for me when a vendor offered to leave up some string lights for the weekend. She knew that was something I really wanted but couldn’t pull off. I am so THANKFUL to her for looking out for us, it made the vibes perfect! Brian was the graphic designer, and he helped take our vibes and made us projection welcome signs, and made the cute photo strips! Our day of Coordinators put up with my craziness. They did everything perfectly, and I did not have to worry about anything.

This space was a blank canvas, easy to transform to any vibe. There was also a gallery for cocktail hour so that we were able to take our pictures in the space in peace. Another thing that was great about this venue, was it included a DJ. We had Jonathan. He really understood our vibe, and was perfect for the day. There was a photo booth there as well. This was include with the venue as well. There were color and black & white photo strips, all included. They also sent us digital copies after. I feel bad that I don’t remember the names of the staff who was there the day of, but I am also so thankful that they did not need to ask my a bunch of questions. They just did everything perfectly, and took control of what they needed to, without involving me in every little thing. If it wasn’t for them I wouldn’t have been able to be so present...

Greenhouse Loft is everything I could ask for in a wedding venue and more, but Spencer and his team are what make this place truly special. From the first point of contact to set up a walkthrough, Spencer was very communicative and easy to work with. He made sure we felt comfortable and answered all of our questions every step of the way. The team provided amazing recommendations for florals and catering - They seem to have a network of businesses who have all worked alongside each other in the industry which made planning and the day-of logistics SEAMLESS.

I knew going into my wedding that I didn't want to DIY anything, or have a million different vendors to keep track of - But I was also on a budget. The space at GHL is great because it's so beautiful on its own, you don't have to do much to make the place feel special and unique. Not to mention, you get access to a beautiful outdoor area, an awesome photo booth (and a designer to customize your photo strips / welcome signage on their projectors), a selection of awesome DJs and just so many small perks we didn't even need to think about. The venue is also BYOB - we worked with Prestige Liquors (recommended by Spencer) who dropped off the alcohol we wanted and picked up any leftovers + reimbursed us for unopened items! We also worked with Chic Chef for catering/bartending and Flowers for Dreams for florals, both recommended by Spencer and his team. The day was flawless. I hired a day of coordinator to help within the last month of planning, but I think if you have a team like these vendors who all work together, you may not need one.

Overall, the space was gorgeous, the people were incredible to work with, we couldn't have asked for a more perfect day and I know this would not have been the case if we had chosen a different venue / team. Highly recommend considering GHL for your special day!!!

A more beautiful venue does not exist, we're convinced! From the bright airy windows in the ceremony/reception space, to the large dancefloor, to the art gallery cocktail hour space, to the greenery-filled outdoor garden space, this venue was perfect for our fall wedding! We knew we would likely be enjoying the inside space more predominantly than the outside given the questionable Chicago November weather, but the outdoor space was still much appreciated by our guests who wanted a moment to cool off after breaking it down on the dance floor. We even got some fun night photos as the bride and groom as our photographer was heading out!

Spencer was the most amazing venue owner we could have hoped to work with, and was incredibly responsive and flexible throughout the whole process. Like super super responsive. I don’t think we ever waited more than a day for an email response from him and gave off this air that as long as a request was reasonable, the sky was the limit for our special day! From our first tour we knew this was the space for us, but every day after just reaffirmed our choice. Almost all of our vendors that we selected ended up having nothing but amazing things to say about the venue and Spencer, and them all knowing eachother definitely made things easier.

We had the most incredible venue coordinator on our day, who worked so well with our day-of coordinator and other vendors we felt super comfortable that the whole team could handle any curve ball thrown their way. The space was the perfect size for the seating chart we were hoping for, and the attention to detail was so appreciated (like making the parent's table was perfectly perpendicular to the sweetheart table).
