The Green Room Tap — Restaurant in West Chicago Township

Wish I could give this place 10/5 stars. First off, this is one of the most well managed bars I've ever been in. When i was there, the bar was super crowded, with two bartenders working, and somehow no one seemed to have to wait too long for a drink. I've never seen this before and am usually used to having to go out of my way to flag down a bartender. On top of all that, during our night my friend had a bit too much to drink (it was her birthday and we pregamed, so let's just leave it at that), and got sick. After we walked outside to wait for the ambulance, the manager (who was also one of the bartenders) came outside to make sure we were all ok and to let him know if we needed anything. He had every right to be annoyed at us but instead he was extremely understanding and compassionate. This is the kind of place i will tell my friends about and continue to visit, just because of the way it's run. Oh, also, the drinks were pretty amazing and reasonably priced. Definitely worth...

This place was chill & cool but the bartender was extremely rude! Sat down at a table since the bar was somewhat full and the bartender didn’t even say hello or bother walking up to the table he waited for us to go up to the bar. if the bar seats are Full and people sit down at a table isn’t it kind of obvious the bartender should at least give us a menu or show us he saw us sit down Idk? don’t get me wrong it’s fine if he was occupied but he literally just looked at us and acted like we weren’t there.. drank one drink with my Friend and left but before we left we put our cup on the bar table dude didn’t even say thanks or bye just kept talking to the people he had his attention on the whole time bad customer service yous need to be a...

The Green Room Tap has such a warm, inclusive, friendly vibe with a nice selection of beer and extraordinary cocktails. Matt and Zew obviously love what they do and have cultivated a welcoming, relaxed atmosphere.

The bar has a "low-key" look that, after having a beer and looking around, I saw was refined and purposeful. Not flashy, but clean cut (wide walk ways to move, clean tables with a nice finish, an uncluttered bar, clean glasses) and nicely done in every spot where it counts.

Also, on the Tuesday I was there, they poured Old Style in frosted pint glasses! Being a Chicagoan for quite some time, this solidified my love of this place.
