I have been depositing checks from an insurance company into my account at this bank for over 3 years without any issues, and my account always has more than enough funds to cover the check. However, due to a new system recently implemented, they refused to deposit my check until they could contact the insurance company. It’s absolutely ridiculous that a bank would refuse to deposit a check from a long-standing customer without giving a specific time frame, forcing me to waste my time coming back the next day and the day after, with no certainty about when I’ll be able to deposit my money.
