Given that I live several states away from the physical shop, I've only had an online shopping experience with Khoi. Here's my experience:
What I like: I love the aesthetics, boldness and uniqueness of the pieces. I've only placed 2 orders so far, and the two sets of earrings seem durable. For the material they are made of, I expect them to last quite a while.
What I did not like: The poor packaging which does nothing to prevent damage during transit. My first order came in a huge 12"x12"x12" box. For a single pair of earrings. The earrings themselves were in a sturdy jewelry gift box, around which there was some shredded cardboard packing. My initial thought before opening was that the earrings could have been damaged in transit. They were not, thankfully. My second order came in the same size box, and this time, the earrings were in a velvet pouch. The box looked damaged in transit (see pics). Luckily, the earrings themselves were intact. I get that the vendor does not have control over handling by the shipper, but they should package their products carefully to prevent/minimize this from happening.
I also cannot get behind the limited period release tactic. What I have observed is that very few items are released at a certain time from a collection to folks who sign up for a "VIP" list. During this time, the items literally "sell out" within 5 minutes or less of release. I have missed out on specific items being "sold out" simply due to not making it to the checkout on time. Other times, I have missed the collection release altogether because I am busy on a meeting at work during the release. This business model does not work for my lifestyle and I cannot fully support it. If the business does not make the products available for shoppers to shop at their own convince, I'm afraid this will begin wipe out an entire customer base.
I'd like to add a suggestion for improvement on listings. Measurement information will be a good addition to the website under the "Size & Fit" tab. This is an important feature of jewelry purchases to understand not only the weight, but the actual size...
Read moreKhoi is high on my list of world traveled luxury boutique shopping experiences, Khoi delivers from the first flawless online shopping experience to the art-gallery-style in-store visit. Every detail is intentional and elevated, creating a true luxury journey from start to wearing.
My first visit was through Khoi’s digital boutique, which was intuitive, beautiful, and a joy to navigate. In person, the visual art gallery presentation gives the soft, pampered, high-end boutique shopping atmosphere I live for and have enjoyed at the best shops across the globe.
The pieces are bold, but lightweight. Clear thought and frankly great artistic expression meets perfect engineering.
Every member of the Khoi team my family of four interacted with was exceptional, warm, and attentive, even with my pre-teen and teen children. I have also ordered by mail and was equally impressed. Everything arrived beautifully packaged, with thoughtful touches that built excitement before I even opened the box.
Fully impressed, fully committed, and already looking forward to my next visit....
Read moreI really wanted to love this brand but I was very displeased with their packaging. I ordered a bangle as a gift for someone and the packaging was so underwhelming. I opened the shipping box and the bangle was just sitting in the box and was not covered in a jewelry pouch or jewelry box. Nothing on the packaging to even indicate that this $100 bangle was purchased from ShopKhoi. After this experience I went to their website and realized you have to buy the shopKhoi packaging which is insane. I expected better. For the price point of their pieces their packaging could be better. They come off as a lux jewelry brand on IG but definitely lacks the lux experience with the packaging. I’ve ordered jewelry from SHEIN for a fraction of the price that had much...
