This is probably the closest Starbucks by my house and I will try my best to avoid this location like the plague.
When we, my bf & I, walked up to the counter, no greeting or acknoledgement that we were there from the 2 baristas with headsets (a guy & a girl). I thought maybe theyre slammed with the drive thru orders. Its cool. I get it. #3 had a headset and he was looking in the overhead storage thats behind the cool hand chalked ads... then 2 more baristas popped up (2 girls).
NONE OF THEM asked if we were helped!!!
My bf is from Riverside and LOVES Starbucks coffee. I love Starbucks too! We're both Gold Members for 5+ yrs. So we understand what a busy location is like. This location can get slammed in an instant... When we walked in, wasnt one of those times.
At 830pm-ish, they weren't closing. We were the only ones at the counter, a lady walked in and asked for the bathroom code AND THEY GAVE IT TO HER, but no acknowledgement of us, who were standing in line, with our own empty coffee traveling cups... FAIL!!!
WE WALKED OUT !!!
I hope the managers/corporate reads this. They need to step in & step up their customer service, because OBVIOUSLY... the baristas in this location...

I had already ordered at a different Starbucks once today & needed to use the bathroom - and the employees (ATTN MGMT: two younger guys maybe in their twenties with dark hair) & the employees illegally refused to let me use the bathroom even though I had my receipt and said I needed to buy something at THEIR starbucks. Then they laughed and walked away from me to not even finish the conversation. If this was a local coffee shop that needs business to survive I would completely understand, but we’re talking about a CORPORATION.
I’ve never had one Starbucks employee ever refuse me to use the bathroom — even ones with codes. As someone who has spent thousands of dollars over the years at Starbucks, it makes me never want to support Starbucks ever again if this is how they treat their customers. If this is how their baristas want to be tipped, it’s not gonna work.
