BABA'S Gyros N More — Restaurant in West Des Moines

We walked up to a gentleman named Sam he was smiling ear to ear. This was a refreshing feeling . My husband and I was eager to look at the menu . Sam you could tell loves what he does and values what you think as well . He asked us what kind of foods we like and expressed what he felt we should try. He was so excited to get our responses . We came back to the table and said to each other who is this guys ?!? Someone actually cares what they are serving ??? They are delightful and excited 😊 just radiating which makes you do the same. Our food was amazing !!! I got a bowl of rice and chicken with my favorite cilantro… so fresh and flavorful “you get to pick what you put on “. My husband had big gyro and he wouldn’t stop talking about it . He thinks it’s the best around . He uses the word AMAZING 🤩.

First & foremost, we were greeted with smiles!! I think we can all agree that you won’t find that every where these days. The men behind the counter were eager to serve us, very friendly, and happy to be there! After looking at the colorful menu full of beautifully plates dishes, we were offered a sample of one of the most popular dishes. #4 BABAS shredded beef shawarma! It was so full of flavor, good quality food, absolutely delicious, and you can tell is made with love! We ordered 3 entrees and all were large portions of food which we appreciate!even our baby loved it!! The service was wonderful. The menu had many options, I believe more than 12 entrees! We will Definitely be eating here in the near future when shopping at Jordan creek! I will come here just for the food & friendly conversation...

Truly made with love. Visited the former restaurant from out of town with my mother months ago and received such warm service that we promised to come back once the new one opened. The owner Sam was so enthusiastic and generous and personally chose our menu items for us. He gave me the #4 (Shredded Beef/Lamb Shawarma), and it was so hearty and flavorful. Sam makes the food taste like magic. The rest of the staff are also incredibly friendly and happy to see people there, which is so refreshing in a busy food court around dinnertime. I highly recommend eating here if you want friendly service and what tastes like the best home cooked meal...
