Casey's — Restaurant in West Des Moines

Extremely disappointed with the service we received from this Casey's. After working 12 hours for an event, we decided to order from this location. We ordered a half taco, half Canadian bacon and beef and a medium pepperoni since we had a group who wanted different things. The employee read back the order incorrectly and then reconfirmed when I corrected him, so the order was verified multiple times. When we got home with the pizza, however, we realized the large was a full taco, which was unfortunate since only one person in the group even liked it. We called and asked if we could have it corrected, only for a different employee to say "my paper said taco, so sorry but that's what you ordered." The person who took the order had left, so he said he couldn't confirm it. He said we could bring him the taco, wait for a new pizza, and switch them out. We hadn't eaten since breakfast and had been working on our feet all day, so everyone was hungry. Since the mistake was on their end, we did not want to make everyone wait another half hour for food so we could drive all the way back just to have them throw one pizza in the trash rather than just giving us the pizza we ordered. Worst experience in my life on a night that should have been memorable I left my brothers wedding and stopped for gas before the reception my husband went in to pay and it seemed to be taking longer then usual I look up and an employee is standing in front of my car screaming and taking pictures of my vehicle while screaming at my husband accusing him of stealing a 17 dollar bottle of alcohol we spent more then that on gas my husband turned back and went into the store and asked to view tapes with management which conveniently nobody knew how to work police came and handled the situation amazingly but weren't allowed to see video either and surprisingly the cashiers next move was to try to get him charged with trespassing excuse me sir we have video of how Unprofessional you were and we stayed because one thing u will not do is humiliate my husband and accuse him of a crime all while saying to dispatch his description is one of those black guy's that wears his pants down low sir he is in Prada shorts with a belt on at that and you try to categorize a hard working man and ruined or whole special evening we definitely won't ever be back but will be in contact with corporate and taking the proper actions to resolve the slander and embarrassment we indured IM A VERY SAD , UPSET, AND...

Extremely rude and unprofessional kitchen staff. My boyfriend had a free pizza & breadsticks on caseys rewards for Veterans Day. The pizza came up as free with no issue but we were having trouble with the breadsticks and when I mentioned it the staff two of them immediately said “we don’t do military/veterans discounts I’m not sure how that’s even possible” extremely loud even after explaining the situation and showing them the phone. One worker even rolled her eyes and had the most visibly annoyed look on her face I’ve ever seen especially from a grown adult. At that point it wasn’t even about the stuff being free it was about how they handled the situation and how they have little to no respect for military/veterans.
