My pizza was great. It always is! Unfortunately the delivery driver was horrendous. The driver rang my apartment and before I even got the chance to say hello they start violently shaking the entryway door trying to open it. I said hello? And I get no response just the driver continuing to shake the door. Then they disconnect and I thought maybe it was a kid trying to get in, not my pizza. Turns out it is because they rang again and this time I immediately say hello can I help you? And they go it's deeks and start violently shaking the door once again.Then they go it's not opening and I say, I know please give me a chance to hit the buzzer to let you in. Wait for the click, and then it will open. They don't wait and tell me my pizza will be by the mailboxes. I want to give the driver the benefit of the doubt and maybe it's been a busy night, but horrible...
Read moreSo this is tough to write. I've been enjoying deeks pizza for the last 10+ years of my life. Unfortunately something has recently changed, as of 5/16/24.
Starting a few months ago the pizza that was delivered was just.. not very good. I couldn't tell you what it is exactly. The sauce might have missed an ingredient, or the crust, I don't know. What I do know is the pizza has been so bland that my wife and I both had a slice and threw the rest. Think about how bad fresh pizza has to be to not even want to eat it.
This is not normal for Deeks, but it has been a trend for a few months now. I hoped it was a fluke, but after several more inconsistent pizzas I think it's time to for us to move on.
I'm not interested in a refund or a coupon, I just wanted my consistent dissatisfaction and disappointment...
Read moreUsually no complaints about this place...however this last experience at the South location was disappointing. I don't even think the guy rang it up, because I wasn't given any change back. I stepped outside to wait for my order. When I returned, a different employee couldn't find my order on the computer(register). (Bc it was never entered by the employee that took my order!) He had to go in back and ask the guy guy who I first dealt with. It all seemed kinda sketchy, especially when I didn't get a receipt . And on top of that, our pizza just didn't meet the standard of quality and flavor that has made us returning and loyal customers of Deeks. In layman's terms, it sucked. Hopefully maybe there'll be some adjustments made across the board to better their chances of us visiting...
