My sister and I went to the establishment after we came from the Big Ten tournament at Purdue University.
On their screen showed that raspberry cheesecake was the flavor of the day I ordered that on a waffle cone and did not receive that but received something with nuts. My sister is allergic to nuts so when the guy came back, I said I’m sorry we can’t have this in the car can you please bring me out the flavor of the day the strawberry cheesecake. When the guy returned he said that’s not the right flavor of the day it’s the nuts one. I said OK what other flavors do you have and he would not tell me any flavors and he would not bring a cone out to us. My sister then asked to see a manager and his response was “if you want to see a manager you can go in yourself I’m matching your energy.” Neither of us were rude to him we just wanted the situation fixed.
We were very polite to him all we wanted was another kind of cone. When I went in to go see the manager her and I started talking and instead of allowing us to have a conversation he walks up behind her and is very disrespectful again to me. He stated that I was a grown ass women and I should not say he was disrespectful and was accusing me of being a liar in front of all the other customers.
The manager finally had him go away. And proceeded to give me two free coupons along with an apology. I do not believe this man should have a job anymore and should not be disrespecting customers the way that he did. I really hope he gets written up or fired as someone who has worked in food service I would have...
Read moreUsed the order at your table feature which literally says on the order that they'll bring the food to the table including the drinks. A girl came and left the food and instantly left without saying anything without cups or drinks. We had to find another employee to at least get cups for the drinks and she seemed to doubt we actually bought them. Someone in the kitchen has also been yelling good items and instructions so loudly you can hear them at the tables and it covers up the music playing. It feels like while the food is still good at Culver's, the service quality is going down. Especially if you use order at your table, if you won't fully complete a service then don't offer it.
Edit: We just attempted to order ice cream at the register but we had to wait about 10 minutes along with an elderly lady because none of the cashiers were at their register. Then the employee who did the register did not know how to use it and it took 20 minutes to order 2 single scoops of the day and a single scoop of vanilla with sprinkles. She kept putting completely incorrect items such as Snickers instead of sprinkles. She was also so quiet I couldn't hear her over the sounds from...
Read moreWent through the drive through to get a fish sandwich. The lady handed me a water and a sticker and told me I was "good to go". Had I have eaten the sticker, I may have enjoyed my meal more. The fish sandwich was devoid of any and all flavor save for the iceberg lettuce which really found time to shine in an otherwise completely bland experience. If you purchase this sandwich in the future and find yourself, as I did, fearing you may have lost your taste due to some illness, fear not. It truly is that bland. The packaging touted a slogan "Take a picture. It will last longer." But what it should have said was "Take a picture. It will taste better." Had to stop at a gas station on my way from the restaurant and get a bag of snacks just to make sure it was the sandwich and I hadn't lost all ability to taste any food. This is NOT an exaggeration. My friend got the same sandwich and we had identical experiences. It is honestly bizarre how flavorless it manages to be despite having breaded fish, Mayo, and cheese, to the point of almost being worth checking out, like some sort of weird, flavorless, sandwich freak show.
Cannot speak to the...
