Went through the drive through today (10.9.21) at 10:35 a.m. Ordered a large latte, extra shot, half & half, no foam, 110º - kid temp. Rachel repeated it back incorrectly. I clarified, and she repeated it back missing some info. I repeated it again. THIRD time. Got to the window and could tell from the weight of the cup being light and the temp of the cup being hot that it wasn't right. Whoever handed it through the window had closed the window and walked away. I waited a bit until I got to a place to stop and I called back. Asked for a manager, put on hold, manager came to the phone. I explained in detail what had happened. I gave the order number, the time, and the 'server' information from the label. The label ALSO did NOT include the request for no foam and the temp... so that information was never in consideration to the person that made the order. I hardly finished and the 'manager' said she had cancelled the order and I would not be charged. She explained that there were lots of new people. I again expressed my frustration of multiple times of coming here and not getting the order correct. Her response was "I don't know what else I can do for you. You can come back and we will re-make the order at no charge" I said that I would hope that when she got off the phone she would address this continued failure with each employee that was involved with the order and tell them to LISTEN to the customer. Her curt response was " I don't need you to tell me how to do my job." OH? Apparently YOU DO need me to tell you how to do your job. I repeated my order 3 times. You still got it 50% WRONG. NOW I'm on the phone and you are being argumentative, combative, condescending, and defiant. I used the terms "poorly trained" & "Incompetent". I was irritated about the coffee not being made correctly AGAIN, but to call and have to get into a battle with a 'manager' over not wanting to hear about her failures just pushed it over the top. I assured her I will take the following actions:

Read moreI get the same order every time a sausage, egg, Gouda bagel sandwich and a frozen salted caramel frappe. A few times I received what suppose to be a frozen frappe and it was complete watery as of no ice was used at all. But I didn’t complain about it. But 3 times I received my Bagel breakfast sandwich, the bagel was hot and hard but when I opened it up and touched the egg and sausage they both were ice cold. And they seem to have an attitude because I keep receiving cold food. How hard is it to heat up some food and not over toast my bagel to the point I can barely bite into it.
This location needs to understand you can get someone really sick or kill someone by not cooking food to the proper temperature. I use to work in the food business and I went to culinary school so I know. They need to be more careful and concerned about serving food to customers that is safe to eat and less attitude about a customer returning food that wasn’t prepared properly. I won’t be coming...
Read moreThis place blows every other coffee shop in the Lafayette-West Lafayette area out of the water (with the exception of Greyhouse). When I'm not near Purdue Campus and I'm wanting some coffee, I always come to the Copper Moon; very glad they opened this location in WL. Service is almost always stellar with the exception of one time for me (out of probably 50-60 visits so far, I am a regular here -- Justin is the best, he doesn't screw up).
Don't waste your money on Starbucks that's gonna send you running to the bathroom 5 minutes after the first sip. Drive another quarter mile down the road and get some real, enjoyable coffee. In case it wasn't clear from this review, Starbucks is DOOKIE.
P.S. they also have some pretty good food items on the menu, but look out, they are always INSANELY hot, I have burned my mouth at least 3 times...
