Mad Mushroom — Restaurant in West Lafayette

We’ve always loved Mad Mushroom on State Street since we came to Purdue years ago. Found a family value meal deal on the Mad Mush website and decided to give the Sagamore location a try, since now we are closer to this place. If more than half of the 14” large pizza is going to be just crust, probably just because we bought the family meal from your own website, maybe just don’t offer those deals at all? Is it your principle that families are supposed to just expect to be shorted on? Even the other pizza has its outer area lacking cheese and toppings. We don’t know if the issue is with the location or the discount they offered themselves, but either way this is not cool. Two stars because we know Mad Mush is better than this + at least the very small inner area of the pizza...

Went here after a Purdue football game and wasn't impressed. We ordered takeout and sat in the restaurant for an abnormally long time to get a pizza to us. The employee who took our order finished her shift (assume she finished her shift. She walked out with a bag across her shoulder and a big pizza box in her hands). Another employee noticed we were there for a while and asked what our order name was, 2 seconds later, reappeared with our pie. The restaurant is very dull and not so clean. I'm glad we had planned not to eat there. The pizza wasn't up to par itself. I did give it a higher rating than I should for 2 reasons. 1. I was famished 2. We didn't eat right way (we carriedout), so...

Excellent pizza and excellent service! Upon ordering, I found they knew what I wanted better than I did. They were very helpful and patient, making apt suggestions. This team was obviously very busy but they busted their butts and executed on our very large, last-minute order very efficiently and courteously. Vegan options are amazing and once they realized it was my granddaughter’s birthday, they brought her out a complimentary cookie! Great group!...
