If I could I would give zero stars.
Went to this place about a year ago to fix the power cord for my laptop. Dropped my laptop off in the morning and he said he would have an estimate later that night and would call me. He didnt call that night, and didnt call the next day. The day after I finally called and he gave me an estimate, so I told him to go ahead and do it, and he told me it would be the next day till the part he needed got there, but he would have the work done the following day. Fast forward to the next day and he calls me about an hour before they close and tells me he is going to have to raise his estimate by $50, so me needing my computer for class ASAP tells him to do it. When I finally got my computer back, the guy had not even assembled it properly, and one of the corners on my laptop was bulging out. I took the laptop back, and his solution was to take it for the day, then just force the piece that was bulging out as far as he could. After that I took it home and decided to check it out myself, and found that he had inserted the the disk drive on top of a bracket that the disc drive should have been under.
Moral of the story: The guy lied about how long it would take, increased his price once he had already started working on it, and was not adequate enough to put the laptop back together properly. Would never...

My Google Pixel had been having battery problems and I finally decided to give battery replacement a shot.
The gentlemen I worked with was friendly and knowledgeable. He was very clear about the cost involved and the time that would be needed. They were very flexible about the timing of my repair so that I can minimize the time I would be without a phone.
When my parts came in I dropped off my phone and left it with them for an afternoon. When I came to pick it up, the repair work had not been done. When the technician attempted to disassemble my phone it did not cooperate and they had serious concerns that they would damage the case/bezel so they stopped and waited to discuss options with me. The technician didn't pressure me to allow him to attempt the repair and in the end actually suggested that we not attempt to repair as I would probably be better off just getting a new phone since repair wasn't a solid option and my phone had quite a bit of age.
From my perspective the experience demonstrated the technician had good judgment and wasn't just interested in making a sale. I wasn't charged for anything and left feeling like I could definitely trust this business. If I have a need, I'll definitely...

Plus their services would cost over 100$. Then I brought it to another smaller company and they could take it apart for free (and further repairs would cost 100$ / hr) and when they did they said the soda residue just stopped before damaging the motherboard. I didn't want to fork over 100$ since I'm just a college student and they said it'd probably be fine. So I just took it home. It worked fine for weeks after that. The keyboard was just pretty sticky when pressing down the buttons, until a week ago when the spacebar had gotten unusable. I finally brought it into BTS and Joe was very approachable. He answered all my trivial questions and got to work right away. The total cost was 60$ which is much better than any of the previous stores I've talked to. After cleaning it, I got to pick it up the next day and everything was so much better. He was very knowledgable and reliable. He even said that when the last company took it apart, they lost a few screws for my motherboard and he replaced it free of charge! Should have come...
