Bummer the duck noodles was inedible, possibly the worst food I ever eaten. Neither my friend nor I could stomach it at all, which is a real bummer because their pad Thai is fantastic! Tidy corner bin turned cute Korean and Japanese good food stop, I can highly recommend especially after my friends already had told me they had great meals here. I picked the Monday dinner destination with them and found a clean, well managed, fast serving, and polite setup. Noticed electronic stations for quick self picks and takeout, many others turned out to get their orders and run off, has to be a solid choice for Asian cuisine when we white boys are the minority! Menu wasn't too odd for he translations, wished they had portion sizes or calories to help me decide on what is right for my appetite. The two others went basic, fried noodles, ramen, and I had to get pad Thai with shrimp. Really like their self serve water infused with lime, extra special touch and I say that should be a common sip drip everywhere! So refreshing! Our entrees appeared, plates well covered and piled up, we all had a good time. Balanced spices and noodles done right across all three, surprising for me was a decent shrimp amount unlike most seafood options that are more skimpy than scampi. Pad Thai is the perfect cold spring day food, will get it again and need to try more...
Read moreFood is mediocre at best, and very overpriced considering the portion and taste. Ordered many times because of how close it is to campus, but did not end up liking anything except for rogamo with chili, which is very pricy. I’m not sure what’s off there, but noodles here generally have a floppy texture that is pretty stale. Soups are also blend in flavor. Once received a beef noodle soup and had to throw away half the beef because the tendons are impossible to chew with human jaw power. Even the house special noodle is not tasty :(. I was so happy when I ordered it, and equally disappointed when I taste it. My normal food choice is stir frying whatever I find edible in the fridge with whatever sauce I see on the counter. Can you imagine how sad it is when you try to treat yourself and the food you get from a restaurant tastes no better than your random stir fry with only soy sauce and garlic as the seasoning? If the taste and texture of noodle is improved, it would actually be a great spot as a lot of the cuisine they offer here is hard to find...
Read moreAfter several visits of coming here and truly enjoying the food today my experience completely changed
In the middle of my meal I found an old napkin buried at the bottom of my food this ruined my appetite and embarrassed me in front of my guest I did not cause a scene I calmly asked to speak with the owner and instead of addressing the issue I was told it was somehow my fault which is impossible since we were only given chopsticks and no napkins with our order
As someone who has supported this place multiple times I find this response unacceptable and unprofessional it is unfortunate to see a place I used to recommend so highly dismiss a serious...
