Normally love 5 guys. But today it wasnot even close to satisfactory. First problem was that it took almost 45 minutes to get our order. I'd understand if busy, but my fiancee and i were one of the 3 couples there. We finally get our two bacon cheeseburgers and one doesn't have bacon, but the other did? They were the same burger! Then, I do not know when they started adding mushrooms but I wish that they didn't. Or at least use fresh mushrooms because the mushrooms i had were very dark and slimy and very literally tasted like dirt. Even after removing them the whole burger was ruined, the taste lingered and I couldn't even finish it and I'm a bigger guy. Lastly my fiancee went to say that bacon was forgotten and the worker was intentionally avoiding eye contact so we had to verbally get his attention after standing there for almost 10 minutes. When we finally got it in that there was no bacon, he turns around and grabs what looked to be the bottom bit of the bacon. Crumbs and pieces of bacon is what was handed to us. I don't know when 5 guys lost its standards but my family and I were very disappointed and wont...
Read moreBeen here a few times. And each time have had to ask for the milkshake when my food is ready. Which is annoying but not that big of a deal. Tonight though when my food was ready and I or course had to ask for my milkshake they told me just a second, made a milkshake, and then handed it to a person who ordered AFTER me. Then had to change whatever bag the milkshake mix comes in and then finally make me a shake. The entire time just standing there watching my food get cold on the counter. Maybe they just hate making milkshakes and that's their not so passive aggressive way to teach you not to order them. Not worth the premium over other places to end up essentially begging for the food you have already paid for and then end up eating a luke warm burger and what turned out to be a runny mess of a disgusting milkshake. I just want a burger and a milkshake (at the same time). That won't happen here. Go...
Read moreI walked in to pick up my online order and no one greeted me or said anything to me. I stood there and no one came to the register, a few people looked at me and continued working. So I approached the manager who was working wearing a black shirt and asked where I was supposed to go for an online order. Either he is deaf or he just ignored me. The worker next to him awkwardly stepped in to help me. As a manager in the service industry as well, I understand the situation of being under staffed and over worked 100% but making your customers feel like they're an inconvenience to you is not the way. I love Five Guys and I used to work at one so I will just make sure to go to a different location next time. 2 stars because the...
