McMenamins West Linn Pub — Restaurant in West Linn

Such a disappointment. Been wanting to try McMenamins, even though we haven't seen great ratings. Just wanted to give it a chance and test it out for ourselves. We were grateful that we got seated right away. But then it just went downhill from there. We were patient, but after over an hour wait for our food, and then the food was just meh, it was definitely not worth the wait. When I went and asked about the status of our good after waiting over an hour, I was told, "We got a lot of orders. At least we got you your drinks right away." The table that came at least 30 minutes or longer after us, got their food at the same time as us. So at least they didn't have to wait long. The Portland Dip, barely any turkey in it and the au jus spilled all over the plate made for a soggy sandwich served. Everything else ordered was also less than average. Like I said, after waiting that long, to new served a lackluster meal was amplified our disappointment. Server was friendly, but she barely checked on us. She brought us a pitcher of water. Updated Review: January 2021: My husband and I, along with other friends, have really appreciated how the staff of this McMenamin's has adapted to the new reality under the pandemic. I want to give a shout out to the hardworking team at the WL McMenamin's as they have really stepped up. In the beginning, we loved the paired down menu, which still allowed us to enjoy our fave brews and good eats. When we could eat outside, we felt super safe eating outdoors with lots of space between tables, all the staff masked up, and the food coming out faster than we could remember. Without being able to eat-in or out, we still order out and the food is quickly prepared and safely packaged for us to enjoy at home. Thank you!!

I wish I could rate zero stars... we sat for over 20 before being acknowledged. Almost an hour later no sign of our food. The womens restroom had an inch of toilet water on the floor, Gross! From the point we ordered to almost 45 mins later when we said we had to go, our waitress never once checked on us or told us there was a delay in the kitchen. When told we had to go because our 5 year old couldn't wait an hour and a half for food at 6:45 at night, no apology until it was time to sign the bill. The restaurant wasn't even half full.
