Allbritton's Cake House & Catering — Restaurant in West Monroe

I brought my son Evan from California to the West Monroe, LA for the 2024 US Junior National Team Trial. Unfortunately, his 11th birthday fell on the second last day of the Trial. The competition was fierce and mentally draining with talented kids from all over the country and I had no energy to plan out a birthday celebration for him.

Fortunately, Allbritton’s Cake House and Catering saved the party. I borrowed another parent’s car and walked in to the store close to 11am on the day of the event (I know I should have planned this better) and I ordered a half-sheet size Black Forest birthday cake with a custom table tennis design on the cake to be delivered less than 5 hours later by 4:30pm. I went to a few other stores in the area, but NOBODY could do this. I was also concerned about the taste and quality of the cake and talked to the lady for a long time because I don’t want the scenario that nobody wants to eat it and I had to throw the whole thing away - after all, many kids and moms from California are accustomed to the best cakes and are very picky in their taste.

Well, the result was Allbritton’s Cake House delivered a slam-dunk successful cake on time that all kids and moms loved it. They ate a couple of rounds and even wanted to take the left-over home. It was just an amazing and successful cake that made the celebration party a huge success.

Today is our last day of stay before heading back to California. My son Evan has won the Second Place in the Junior National Team Trial U11 Boys on his birthday. Allbritton’s Cake has made our birthday celebration a huge success. THANK YOU to the hospitality of the people of West Monroe Louisiana. We were very impressed and will remember it forever!

I've ordered two cakes from here over the past few months. I had decoration issues with both cakes. The first time I had them fix the cake before I left. I had ordered a light Grey icing and it ended up black. They didn't know what to do so I had an idea and they airbrushed some silver on it the edges to lighten it up. I had time and went to buy new decorations to help lighten the color and it worked out. The cake turned out beautifully after they fixed it. Photo included.

The second time I was in a hurry so I didn't have them fix it before I left. They ran out of icing partway through the letters for "happy birthday" and tried to match the colors but we ended up with HAP in one color and the rest of it in an unmatched color. It wasn't as easily noticeable in the photo. This wasn't the only issue with the decoration but it was the one that had me raising my eyebrows. See photo.

Starting off with the service..5 star all the way through. From the first time I called them, they were happy to help, even when I ordered the wrong thing and called back to change my order entirely, the team at Albritton's was ready to jump in and did it happily. I ended up going up to the store to share some pictures of our vision for my daughter's Five Nights at Freddy's cake and they were happy to answer all of our questions and go through all of the details with us. They took our vision and made an amazing cake! We provided some of the toys we wanted on the cake and they decorated and designed it beautifully!
